If appointments are offered, advise the customer online of the time blocks, have all customers check in, and not just the walk-ins and let another person come in, with familiarity with the stylist, have a laugh, and then proceed to walk him to the chair, without acknowledging the people sitting down who have been waiting for some time as the only other stylist has spent a considerate amount of time making a sign that could have been done later. My hair is thin and straight and had grown down my back before the cut, so that guidance really mattered. The result exceeded my expectations. While I waited I noticed a sign that said all haircuts were $35. Since all I need is one third of my head trimmed, it would be less. Was prepared to pay full price though. The woman who did the trim seemed to do it fine. She was personable as well. When I asked how much, it was $30. Most expensive trim I've had, always been $20 or less. That's fine, I paid knowing I wouldn't return. The reason I decided to write a review is first, she left in the two Velcro like things to pull my full length hair out of the way. Second, and the worst part, she cut quite a bit of my full length above the undercut. When I took my hair down, there were hundreds of full length strands falling out. I've never had a barber do this. Yes, a few. No one is perfect. This was much more than a few, more like a few hundred. Very disappointing.

We had an extensive consultation (and Zac had also asked me a number of questions via text prior to our appointment). I wanted some of the length off and to refresh the style, and said that I was open to his ideas. He told me to advance what he was going to do, kept me advised all during the process, ended up taking off about 3 inches and somehow cut it so it looks like I have double the amount of hair I did when I came in. I have never had a better haircut. I have waves and curls that I didn't think I did, it's easy to wash and maintain (he recommended products that he used on me, and I did get them, and they are excellent), and my hair looks good all the time now. Zac also showed me how to use the products, which makes my at home styling much better than it ever was. I'm definitely returning, in fact I have my next visit booked already.
