This was my first time at this salon and felt right at home with Joel. He is patient and was able to tame my tangling hair! I don't even know where to begin to express how impressed, overly satisfied, and grateful I am for the experience I had with Blend Color Studio - more specifically, with Amanda & Rachel. I attempted to box dye my hair brown a few months ago, and when that didn't turn out so well, I box dyed my hair black to cover it all up. (Huge covid mistake!) I provided an image of what I was looking for and was prepared for the highly likely possibility of needing more than one session to properly lighten my hair and cut through all the box dye. By some miracle, my hair was transformed in just one session to exactly what I envisioned. I also had a Brazilian blowout done on the same day and Amanda & Rachel worked together to get my hair done quickly without it ever feeling rushed. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to having my hair cut after a few awful experiences in other salons, but that wasn't the case here. They trimmed my ends without sacrificing much length but also cut enough to return my hair to a healthy state. After all was said and done, my hair looks amazing, feels healthy, and my wallet is grateful for their reasonable & competitive prices. Booking online is a breeze, the salon is clean & comfortable, and the staff are professional, personable, and wonderful at what they do. I do not recommend this business. I am a disappointed with my experience. I came in for blonde highlights and I left with a orange brass baylage hair and a terrible hair cut and let me just say I am out of $200+. Don't get me started on "shadow root". I went in for a professional relaxing environment and I did not get that. I would not want anyone else to go through this. I have attached a picture of how awful my hair was. This picture does not fully show the extent of damage. I did not except go fully blonde. I luckily found a stylist that was able to correct my hair. From the moment I googled "best salon near me" and until now I had nothing but great experience with Bland Color Studio. Amanda and Joel are very knowledgeable with many hair techniques that will slay your hairdo in no time. I was very scared to cut my hair short and dye it red, but Joel assured that it will look great and fresh on me. I don't cut my hair all that often, but after I went to this salon I don't regret cutting it - my hairstyle is super cute. As far as dying process went I wanted to have Scarlett Johansson hair color, all about that redhead look now! The color came out even and vibrant, it lasted me quite some time, even though it was only semi permanent. They use pravana products, which I love, if you haven't tried pravana I'd recommend to get on it. It's great! The customer service is amazing! I have them a call and got booked for a cut and color. I got text message confirmation of my appointment right away. Joel also texted me, asking if I had any idea of what I want, so he can get a visual idea of it. I send him some pictures and he said can't wait to do it. On day of my appointment everything went supper smooth, cut and color came out beautifully and I was very happy with overall result. I took 4 hours of paid time off to have Amanda color my gray and brunette hair to blonde like the pics I provided, and my result is dark, strawberry blonde with a very red tint. After Amanda washed my hair, I asked if she will lighten my hair; it looks dark? Amanda said, yes she would. The salon has bright, natural lighting from outdoors so I didn't see the red tint prior leaving. Not until after I washed and styled my own hair, the red tint is very apparent. Amanda offered a color correction "at my expense, another $350" the next morning at 9:00 A.M.; I informed her that I'm not able to take 4 additional hours of paid time off, at a whim, for the color correction. Amanda offered an appointment in August. Really....August!! Being very upset, I informed Amanda I would give her a negative review on the Color Blend Studio website, so she deleted my contact information from the salon's Vagaro.com scheduling software (as if I was never a customer) so I was unable to post a negative review. Imagine that!! So here is my review on Yelp! After years of having my hair colored, I never had anyone color my hair to a red tint by any stylist and never experienced such an unprofessional stylist. read more

After finding her on Yelp, I decided to call and ask for pricing. She promptly picked up my call and answered all my questions. Amanda Rose stylist. Disappointed. Asked for bayalage and received something completely different. She cut my hair dry i think because she actually forgot she was going to cut my hair. Then she hardly cut it. I had to ask her to cut the front includind my bangs. She ended up just bleaching and toning my hair and I paid $200 for it. Then color rinsed out after 2 washes. I think she can actually do good hair so I'm not sure what happened. I tried calling her and left a message and she never called me back then i tried texting her didn't receive any thing back.
