John quickly assessed the problem, replaced the bad part, checked our coolant level, and even cleaned the outdoor unit so it performs more efficiently. Parts cost mark-up 500% Plus hourly, which they added an extra half hour, I assume for tip. All for very minor maintenance that had already been partially completed by another HVAC company. ie. no investigation needed, no disassembly of HVAC, etc Everything laid out and all they had to do was connect 3 wires and re-assemble... So angry.... I do the service tech a huge favor and they rip me off.... Never using these guys again....

They came to my rescue when my 87 year old dad's AC went out. We had American Home Shield (AHS). I'm his caregiver along with other caregivers our family engages. The temp in the house was registering 91. Extrem edit uncomfortable for anyone. AHS's vendor couldn't come for a week. We tried to get AHS to authorize us to use Russell. It was so much red tape that it wasn't worth it. We did end up engaging the AHS vendor. He assured me everything was ok with the system and installed a thermostat. I asked him if he was sure that it would cool because my dad's 97 year old sister and her family was coming this weekend from Memphis got a visit. He said Im sure. I said if not, can I call you. He said I'd have to call AHS to issue a recall. That night after arriving to my fathers house, it was 87 degrees. The issue apparently had not been resolved!! After AHS issued a recall with that s as me vendor, they told me it would be a week before they could come because they were only on the area once a week. So i threw all caution to the wind as bd called Russell. They came the same day and took care of the issue by installing a new motor for the fan. My father and I are sitting in a cool house after 2 weeks. Russell's price was reasonable, they were prompt and professional. They did not leave either until they knew the system was cooling. I won't name the other vendor. I've reviewed them. This review is to highlight the professionalism, honesty, knowledge and empathy of Russell. I have since canceled American Home Shield. Russell is out vendor of choice now. Thank you Spencer, Jance and the young man who came today after Spenser was tied up. My dad thinks you too and says you all have always had a stellar reputation.
