I stopped by Country Bake Shoppe and picked up Whoopie pies, cupcakes, and a pecan bar. Pumpkin nut bread was NOT on my original list. Then I tasted the Whoopie pie. Y'ALL. It was so good that I had to go back and get something else! That's when the pumpkin nut bread came home with me too. When something is good enough to make another bakery owner turn around and go back for more, that says something! There was something so comforting about this little country bakery. Nothing pretentious--just beautiful, homemade baked goods that taste like they were made by people who truly care about what comes out of their kitchen. As the owner of Sugar Daddys Bakery, I spend so much of my life creating things for other people to enjoy.
