Just got an order delivered to the hospital where I work. My colleagues and I decided to treat ourselves to a Labor Day delivery meal. The chicken is tender and juicy. Hand cut fries are tasty and well seasoned. Best part is that when we realized the dipping sauces weren't included in our delivery, the owner (I think) drove his bicycle to the hospital to deliver them to us! Will definitely be back! I found this restaurant after walking through West Chester for a couple of blocks. I just wanted something that was quick, and I could eat outside. The menu was located on a large screen as you come in. I asked the friendly guy behind the counter what to get, because it was my first time here. I ordered a chicken bites, fries and a soda. They have a couple of different dipping sauces. The chicken was really good. The fries were excellent, also, but I would like them cooked slightly more- I like my fries a little on the brown side. The restaurant was clean- I found out the guy behind the counter was one of the partner of this restaurant. This meal was cheap and excellent. I would go back for nuggets or a chicken sandwich and fries. I imagine if you are a college student who likes chicken and fries, this is a great place to get a late night snack. read more

The Good: it's new and staff are polite. The seating in plentiful. There's a parking lot (although can get full depending on the time of day because it's on the tcnj campus. It's the only type of it's restaurants around within the area. The French fries were pretty seasoned. The prices are exceptional given inflation. The Bad: the chicken tenders I ordered for the meal were HUGE; like GMO huge. It had a nice seasoning to it (although light). The hot honey sauce which I asked for on the side was just ok. Nothing earth shattering. The French fries (which came in the same box) were pretty soggy. I happen to like crispy fries so that was disappointing. I wouldn't try these tenders again because they were just abnormally large. I believe their signature is the chicken. I'd probably wait a bit to return until they iron out the kinks. read more

Their West Chester location is the company's first expansion past the Lancaster PA market where they have 2 locations. The advance buzz on the place was strong as my student from there said these were better than Chick-Filet. She was right. While the service was somewhat slower than it will be a month from now as they work through opening the day before. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We ordered the Js Way sandwich - their signature that's well worth a try (we went mild sauce and it was perfect). My better half got the 3 tenders plain and they were fantastic- makes me miss Redcrest less and less. Tried the small nuggets in mild sauce and loved the spice. The cherry lemonade was delicious. Only disappointment was limp, cold unimpressive French fries. Can not WAIT to return. This is a fantastic addition to West Chester's foodie scene. read more

We stopped in here to grab lunch to go. To be honest, we weren't that hungry, but we stopped in for some chicken tenders after seeing some social media promotions for this place. The staff was very welcoming and greeted us immediately upon entering. They were also patient as we navigated a new menu. And they informed us that everything was made fresh, which was a good sign. My wife and I both got chicken tenders with hot honey sauce. First impression was the chicken tenders were huge! We each got 3 tenders, so we had plenty. I have to be honest, the hot honey sauce was not what I was expecting. But it was delicious! There is a hint of sweetness, but the flavor was more so smoky with a spice/kick. And the tenders themselves were juicy and cooked perfectly. Being that we weren't too hungry, we saved most of our tenders for dinner later that day. So we had a less tan successful dinner one week in West Chester and did not have enough delicious gelato at D'Ascenzo's to fill us up so we tried Blazin' J's for a bite. We enjoyed some delicious; super juicy chicken tenders and yummy beach fries that could have been cooked just a smidge longer. It was the perfect ending to an imperfect dinner. Really friendly owner. I tried this place for the first time yesterday for lunch; I figured I'd start with the standard headliner meal, and man it did not disappoint. That's some excellent chicken, their sauce game is on point, and the fries have some kinda extra seasoning on them that really worked. I loved the dipping sauce too. I like moderately spicy food, and the level of heat was perfect - a nice little kick but not so much that it overwhelms the enjoyment of the food. You gotta love a place that knows what it does best and sticks to perfecting that. The menu isn't full of clutter; they tell you they sell chicken, you go there to get chicken. (And fries and/or waffles.) It's a purity of purpose that has really paid off. In summary, this is a great little place for a quick lunch in West Chester. My first experience with this restaurant was amazing, the crisp on the fried chicken sandwich was better than Popeyes , KFC, and Chic Fila. Maybe that was because the manager/ owner was there providing us an exceptional food experience and cook the chicken himself. This second experience at this restaurant did not meet the same standards, there was zero crisp to my chicken sandwich, two sandwiches I order came with pickle ends.
