We've "worked" with her previously, and foolishly decided to try again this year. After supplying all the information to her, we waited several days. Tax day came and went, making us late filing. We called a few times, and she either didn't call back, or said she'd start right away. Except she didn't start. Repeated calls and delays that extended into two weeks later, I called and told her I wanted them done ASAP. A day later she messaged me that she would start them the next day! But she didn't. She made our taxes late, meaning I now had to pay a penalty to CRA, she was severely lacking in communication, and even when pressed, she didn't do our taxes, despite the passing of weeks. I told her to forget it; in fact, I ended up doing them myself, saving the hundreds of dollars she usually charges us. Normally I would just say that I don't recommend a service, but this time around I offer some advice: find someone else who will act in a timely fashion, and can communicate better.

I had gone in with some questions and before listening to us she jumped right in to give me an estimate and expect me to let her do my taxes. when I explained that I would like to know certain things before going ahead with her, she imidiately became impatient and extremely rude. I speak perfect English, better than her in fact and she mocked me saying I can't hear you and copied gibberish language to tell me that's what she hears. she held a demeaning and insulting behaviour both verbal and body language. Will never recommend to anyone. CRA is more helpful than having to ask her anything. She holds a simple tax filling certificate and had the audacity to tell me I should know better as an accounting student instead of answering simple informationAl question. how they expect to get clients with this attitude is beyond my understanding. rest assured though I will not recommend them to anyone.
