We actually got referred to this broker by a friend of my husbands who works at the Fish Creek Nissan dealership who uses this broker for their car sales. I love it when I get someone on the phone right away, like a human without the robo menu is a bonus for me, so they started off right. The receptionist was super nice, listened to my concerns and gave me some feedback and was a total professional, she transferred me to a broker in the office and he was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to deal with and obviously knew the industry very well. He took some info and started an application for me and said he would get back to me by the end of the day and if he got busy he would have his assistant get back to me. Bonus points, a pretty solid human receptionist and assistant who would actually talk to me by the end of the day...ok, ok, I see you. By the end of the day I not only got a call back, the insurance was quoted LESS than what I was paying with TD and decided to add my car to get a better rate. I didn't even have to go in to the office, everything was done though phone and email and a pink card was emailed to me shortly afterwards. If I had to pay more, I would still use this office; its small but in a good way and I found out they also have an office in Edmonton. They remember you when you call, and send you emails keeping you informed-always a good sign and tells me they run a tight ship. I will never go through a bank again, it took over 6 months to settle a minor claim, but its my own fault for not shopping around, banks are in the business of making money not selling insurance so lesson learned. Kudos on being the small guys who still understand what customer service is, I will be referring friends and family here.

About two years ago I was there in person for a meeting very stressed about my mortgage and some other issues with a different bank and the financial advisor giving me advice on the second floor was very very lovely and fabulous and helpful and thoughtful and then on the way out, she introduced me to her coworker who had a nearby office we happened to bump into in the hallway named Bryan. It's so interesting, as per my dad's advice, you should always be nice to everyone you meet because you really never know what your future holds and whether or not you can be mutually beneficial to each other. That was two years ago and recently Bryan helped me Reacquire quite a lot of my money after four years of fighting and lawsuits and even better, the TD, mutual fund that he put it into in the last five days has made me more than 20% of the income I achieved in my full-time job last year. Just from sitting on my butt!!!! I didn't even have to do anything. Thank you so much to Bryan and your amazing manager Maria,, who was also incredibly helpful, even though I've never even met her in person yet. Looking forward to the future and I'm finally sleeping well again after four years of stress. Bryan is thoughtful. Consequently $11.72 was missing from my Scotiabank account to pay my $1,265 postdated rental check. At first it seemed that the Scotiabank has paid my check, because the transaction clearly appeared on my bank account. But Today; 2 days later; I have seen in my account that the bank had returned the check and charged my with $42.50. They did this today when more than $100 has transferred to my account, so the required amount was fully available on my account. After the Scotiabank has returned my check, my landlord will charge me with $100. So, altogether I will have $142.00 charge. I have an account at Scotiabank nearly half a year, my paycheck is deposited to my account bi-weekly. I have no Scotiabank credit card nor any loan. The bottom line is that you can do what you want because you are allowed to do this. On the other hand you are using all of you customer's money on the stock exchange or for investments and you gain huge profit on that. Every customer "lending you" money for weeks, months or years for nothing or for pittance. But you do not lending even $11.72 for only one-two days, because $42.50 worst more for you that the 1-2 days interest of $11.72.
