Found this fantastic food truck just below the Navajo dam on the San Juan River in a sleepy little town in far north west New Mexico. We had been out fly fishing the San Juan River for a long day. We unload at the fly shop and we are starved. One of the guides tells us about the pulled pork BBQ sandwich from this little food truck. Our interest is enhanced. We go in to settle up our bill with the fly shop, and he recommend this food truck! Thank you sir! Pulled pork sandwich is what to try here! Driving up to this A&W feels like ascending into a golden cloud of flavor and joy. The steak finger sent me into a spiritual coma, the fries are rays of crispy sunlight, and the root beer is liquid ambrosia served in a frosted chalice. The staff? Angels in orange, delivering happiness on a tray. This A&W isn't fast food , it's a heavenly experience that time travellers will be returning to for the rest of human existence. The inside looks nicer than the Sistine Chapel and carries twice the spiritual energy.
