We have a large, rustic property that has very rough terrain, and we are trying to turn it into our home. We needed to create outdoor living space and correct some significant problems with drainage and elevation. Before we started work with Two Men & A Hoe, we had some ideas of what we wanted to achieve, but we thought everything about our property was either too expensive or impossible. As soon as they started work, they quickly made us realize that nothing was really impossible, and there were many solutions within our budget. From that point onward, they took every idea we had and made it better than what we had even hoped. They solved problems and provided creative ideas to generate options beyond what we thought possible. All the while, they were very mindful of our time and our budget. Since our fist job with them, we have had them out several times as our ideas have grown, and we will probably have them out again for future projects. The end result is this: we are simply overjoyed. Before Two Men & A Hoe, our outdoor space was not usable. Their skills and problem solving have created outdoor living spaces that we now enjoy every single day. Their work is simply awesome. There is no better way to describe it.

After he started our landscaping project in July of 2022, we immediately had some concerns with the size of his staff (2 workers, both young and inexperienced) A 2-3 wk job turned into a 7wk job with multiple issues arising. Devin assured us at every turn that he would be there to make things right and follow through. On the day his work team was supposed to be preparing for our sod to be laid (a time sensitive segment of the project) they were a no show. This delayed sod pick up by a day and unfortunately some of our sod didn't make it. Our front yard looks terrible!! I also gave bonuses to the workers Devin got to replace the ones that didn't show to help encourage them to salvage the job. The irrigation subcontractor he hired that requested an additional $900 ended up MIA and never completely finished our irrigation system. We had to have "Andy's Sprinkler Co" come in, and we paid them another $1,000 to fix issues, and it's still not where it needs to be (not Andy's fault). Drip is connected to a zone with regular pressurized sprinkler heads which is a problem and the list goes on. His concrete subcontractors work needed to be re-done twice, and it's still now cracking and looks terrible!! Devin laid our artificial turf incorrectly so the grain of the grass is Mis-matched, it's so obvious. You can tell it's artificial because of how it's laid. He assured us he would fix it, now he is MIA and completely ghosting us. I've given him 7 months to make this right before leaving this review. Next I'll be going to the better business bureau and eventually I'll end up suing him for the additional money we will have to pay to have things made right. We are fair minded, patient, good people. We would never move forward on these choices if he'd made things right. We just need our $19,000 project completed with quality workmanship and honor. We have called him and there is no way for us to leave a msg and he doesn't return any of my husbands texts. We have given him every opportunity to make this right. I would avoid this company if you're considering them for a project. He is unreliable and doesn't finish the job.

Maybe like most I was hesitant to give 1/2 of money for our project without the work being done but…read moreI have to say Devin put us a ease. He was very responsive, open to change and came out on multiple occasions to measure and discuss the changes/recommendations. We would definitely recommend Wallace Construction for your landscaping needs, they transformed our yard to look amazing!! Lots of before and after pics so you can see the difference.

I used the company HANSCO, a demolition and excavation business, to remove an old and…read morenonfunctioning pool in my backyard. After getting extremely high bids from pool companies for the pool removal, I decided to see if a demolition company could do the work instead. I'm so glad that I found Shane at HANSCO. He was prompt and professional when he came to look over the site. We also had an old tree that had been planted in the patio area that had completely outgrown and cracked the concrete patio. He explained how they could also remove the tree and cracked concrete at the same time that the pool was being removed. The backyard would also be leveled after all of the removal work was done. The day that the work was started, all of the men showed up on time and immediately got to work. They removed the 6-foot cyclone fence from around the pool and all of the vegetation that had grown up through the years. Then came time to start the demo of the pool itself. They broke up all of the concrete sidewalk around the pool. This was something that the pool company was not going to do. The pool company only fills in the pool, so there would still be evidence that a pool had been in the backyard. The other workers then started on the tree removal and broken patio removal. The entire project only took two days to complete. I even asked about a couple of small tree stumps that were in the backyard that weren't included in the bid, and they quickly removed those for me too at no extra charge. I need to mention....HANSCO's bid for the entire project was 1/3 the cost that the pool company quoted me just to fill in the pool! I highly recommend this company for any of your demolition or excavation needs. HANSCO, President/CEO Shane Hans 210-669-2002
