I tried emailing but it bounced back!…read more I'm looking for hair and makeup to come to my hotel the day of my wedding. There will be five bridesmaids, myself and my mother. My wedding is on Saturday, January 4th, 2020 in Downtown Pittsburgh.  I want Old Hollywood Glam for myself. Everyone else is just going to get simple clean blowouts and natural makeup.  Please advise as to scheduling and rates.  Allison S. Kent  allisonskent@gmail.com

The options are a cash tip or independently going into Venmo to send a personal tip. The receptionist explained to me that the owner does not want to pay taxes on tip money, so she does not allow her employees to be tipped in a typical way. I'm sure the IRS will catch up eventually, but for now I won't give another dime to a business owner who doesn't feel she owes the community a fair tax burden, and effectively limits the tips her staff receive. Full offense, but don't open a small business if you don't feel its fair to pay taxes.

Before we met in person, she asked me to fill out a survey and send her pictures to give her an idea of what I wanted, which made me feel like she really cared about every detail. Not only did she make me look exactly the way I described to her that I wanted to look (actually better), but the makeup lasted ALL NIGHT. I only had to touch up my lipstick, which she gave me in a cute little bag with a bunch of other cool stuff. The other thing that really impressed me is that she sanitized every tool she used right after each use. Everything was clean and organized and she got all five of us done right on time. I will recommend Shelby to everyone I know who's getting married!

I know you went to school for this stuff, but Ive had my head all of my life, so i really like when stylists respect my concerns and desires when i trust them with my doo. As my bridesmaids and I got ready for the big day, laughing, crying and everything in between she was right there with us. I tasked her with creating an updo that covered my ears and was flexible enough I could take my hair down after the ceremony! (I really wanted half up half down, but my wedding was outside and it was 95 degrees.) She did it and it was perfect. My makeup made me look 5 pounds lighter and who doesn't want that on their wedding day! Everyone that sees my photos is shocked by how beautiful I look! Ha! Not sure how to take that, but it speaks volumes to her work. She strives to make you feel beautiful and she truly out did herself. She's as wonderful as she is talented. If I could give her 10 stars I would... anyone who needs hair or makeup for anything should be lucky enough to work with her!!! Couldn't recommend her enough! She was my wedding day wizard!
