The bison strip loin dinner was a triumph! I also had the ribeye ragout with GF pasta, the pickerel chowder, the Caesar salad without croutons, and the poached prawns. In terms of food and service a lot has changed for the better post-Covid. The comments about the decor are on point, though. When the server was taking desser orders he asked and she said I thought it was coming out $ then was told No. There was no other explanation given, no apology or anything. He just didn't get his meal. As for mine, when you may $14 for potatoes you expect the to be hot when they were only lukewarm. I ordered my beef tenderloin medium rare but it was more like rare/blue. I was able to eat some before it was too rare for my liking. I was afraid to send it back seeing my friend had no meal. When you pay good money for a meal you expect to a) get it& b) that it would be hot and delicious not just fine. There was no excuse either it wasn't super busy or anything. A moderately challenging course if you're not a long hitter on some of the holes. If you can't clear at least 200, it'll be impossible to get a cross a few valleys even hitting from Whites. Not sure how many people can play off the Gold tees except for the really long and accurate players. Lots of blind shots where if you don't play this course a few times will make it an interesting time to say the least. Lots of decisions to make. Nice clubhouse with a good dinning area. Service from the bag drop folks to marshalls were all fantastic.
