Mind you, I have worked with hundreds of Attorneys and none have ever stood out but Alex absolutely did. Aside from being intelligent, professional, responsible and responsive - what left a lasting impression was the level of high respect and kindness that he showed everyone involved. He was patient, calm, collected and supportive throughout a highly stressful process of a Rehab loan. Once we closed the loan I kept his contact information and when it came time to purchase my own home, he was the first and only Attorney I reached out to and I am so glad I did. Alex went above and beyond to make himself accessible to help and answer any little question I had promptly and in full detail. We battled with the Sellers for repairs and since I had Alex on my corner I am thrilled to say we received the best possible deal on Credits and Repairs. Alex is young, driven and overall a wonderful person who genuinely cares for his clients. I not only found an excellent attorney but a great friend as well. Thru all the legal process, verbiage and harsh deadlines, he always led me down the right path and I feel as though he advised me as he would an actual family member. He always gave it to me straight while maintaining an empathetic vibe and supportive demeanor. He is as good as it gets and hand to the sky, I have been and will continue to send him business because I know I can refer him with 100% trust that he will take care of the client and put their needs first. With all the bitter, angry and disrespectfully aggressive Attorneys there are out there - Alex is a breath of fresh air. Young, talented, driven and positive - he really is as good as it gets.

He is personable, attentive, knowledgeable and respectful. I didn't encounter any of the issues mentioned in the one negative yelp review from many years back. Three other attorneys were recommended by our agent but their reviews were few in number and unflattering in comparison. I found Joerg to be very knowledgeable, efficient, and easy to work with. He walked us through the process and provided solid opinions during the back and forth on contract negotiations. His assistant, Kim, provided timely and very solid administrative support via email and phone. At the end, Joerg quickly reviewed the things that were on my "to do" list and thank goodness for that as I had overlooked getting a sump pump inspection! 3 business days before the closing, I was able to still get it done and meet the close date. It was a pleasure working with Joerg and would not hesitate to refer him or use him again on real estate or other matters.

My sister believed she should transfer her shares to me because she had invested far less time and effort in the business than I had. However, without understanding the history of the family business or consulting me, Lisa Knauf persuaded my sister to retain her shares. In my view, this was highly unprofessional by Knauf Law, as it favored my sister over the interests of our 79-year-old family business and led to an ongoing 50/50 deadlock. I recommend avoiding Knauf Law if you do not want decisions made behind your back by someone who assumes they know better than the people directly involved.
