They did an excellent job in fixing all the siding, trim, and wood issue of our house's exterior, that were found in the preparation stage of the painting process. They performed their job professionally and carefully from sealing all the siding gap, priming, taping to painting and cleaning after the project. They're hard working and kind people. Beside the excellent work they did, I appreciate their punctuality and responsiveness in communication and showing up on time, from the very beginning of the free inspection until the project is finished. If you often must look up and contact different contractors/companies to fix things around your house, you know how valuable being on time and good communication is. Rafael is friendly and easily to reach in both text and call, which is very helpful to me since my family communicates better in text than phone call. The team did a good job, and Rafael comes onsite to check on the project often, as well to communicate and promptly answer all of my questions. All the project's detailed is listed and informed well in the email invoice. He also explains the process and keep us well updated throughout the project. More importantly, their price range is competitive and affordable for the high quality they deliver. We even receive a free driveway pressure wash due to the promotion of the exterior project. This is a family business, rather than a collection of gypsy crews handling jobs sold by a polished sales guy, and it shows. Ray, the owner discussed the job with me, and gave me a great price. When I pointed out that the quote included things I didn't need done, he insisted on lowering the price because it would be less work for them. When other aspects took more work and materials than I thought he had budgeted, I insisted on paying the already-reasonable original amount. The crew, literally consisting of extended family members, couldn't have been more professional, more friendly and more meticulous. They took tremendous pride in their work, paid attention to detail and went way beyond expectations. My deck was embedded with pollen and they pressure-washed every square inch of the decking, the rails, and the furniture on that deck, even though they weren't painting any of it. Even two weeks later, it's cleaner than it's ever been. They also pressure washed the windows. I don't ever remember them being this clean. When we thanked them, they said it was just all part of the service. At the start, Ray said he was taking down the exterior lights and volunteered to hang new ones, if I'd like. That gave us an excellent opportunity to replace all those tarnished fixtures. They finished the exterior, and I can't stop going outside to admire it. The house looks better than when it was built. They came back the next day and did a great job on the minor interior work. So, why isn't this 5 stars? One of the downspouts, which had been removed for painting, came loose, and I kept trying to get Ray to come out to re-attach it before it disconnected from the gutter. I also asked him to give me a price to paint the fence. After several missed appointments and many ignored emails and calls, I gave up on him. If he can fix the reliability, it's a 5-star experience.

I contacted several firms for some help in getting a somewhat large home repair job done and Housworth was the only one who felt like they were up to the job ... and returned my queries and phone calls for estimates. (I did get visits from two other companies but they were reluctant to do the project.) So many companies don't even return queries ... even over Kudzu or "trust dale" or "yelp" ... (thats frustrating!) But Im glad Housworth responded to my calls. Richard Anderson was the project manager for our work (and it turns out, one of Housworth's owners). I found Richard to be personable, helpful and responsive to further questions and queries. We have a one level, "ranch"-style home that we have been in since the early '90s and is typical for the type of homes built in suburban Atlanta in the early '80s. We had the roof "redone" several years ago (by the much reviled "AtLroof" shysters that hit and damaged the roofing market in metro Atlanta a while back), but there has been a window on a vaulted part of the ceiling that is not a skylight, but high enough to be such, that has been cracked (by a bird? hail?) for months, to top it off, the exterior flashing and woodwork around the window needed substantial repair and during the rains of October 2015, it began to leak substantially. The entire window "area" needed to be "remodeled" with new glass and woodwork. Richard arrived and assessed the damage and unlike the firms who only gave me a cursory "we don't fix this kind of stuff" quote, Richard was actually able to show me the damage on top of the roof. How did Richard show me the damage? Well, I had an accident in 2014 and I certainly was not going to be getting on a ladder, but Richard had the latest technology on hand! He brought along a flying drone and guided it up to the roof to take photos and videos of the area that needed to be repair. I was able to see (and obtain) actual photos of the damage that truly showed what needed to be done aside from the fact I knew we had a leak. Due to the way the window was constructed, almost "resting" on the roof, Richard pointed out it was a problem waiting to happen as leaves and rainwater would collect in the area around the window. Richard gave us a great suggestion in having the bottom of window size reduced and raised up from the roof to allow less of the valley the original construction provided. The photos also depicted that the exterior siding of our home's small chimney was in equal disrepair. After getting, and okaying, a quote from Richard and Housworth, Richard got together a team consisting of skilled carpenters, painters, siding and drywall guys plus arranging for a glass company to cut glass to the new size. It took a couple weeks to get the window issue and chimney completed ... it was a lot of work ... but the end result was excellent. We definitely plan to use Housworth for future work on our home.

After investigating the crack they discovered the studs had rotted from water damage, and they didn't miss a beat. They offered to replace the extra studs, and install new installation and drywall. Despite this surprise, they still finished the work within the estimated timeframe for an extremely reasonable cost. The team of two was timely, friendly, professional and did excellent work. We will definitely hire them again for any future drywall repair and painting work!

Upon their exit the paint was still wet yet it looked as if it was fixed however after it dried you can definitely still see the entire stain.
