Keep in mind we are from the US and they are in Canada, we where told by Gordon Stark (Raven Marines crook) it was ready to go, We show up 1 1/2 days before it was to be loaded on the transport ship. Well to make along story short we did not even have paint on the bottom of the Yacht, So for them to drop our yacht back in the water we had to pay them 22,000.00 Canadian. we already had paid over 40,000 to ship the boat so they knew the had us and we had to pay the EXTORTION MONEY. We went to a marina in Sidney, BC, but the marina pump-out system was out of service, so we needed to fix this problem quickly. We called Raven Marine as soon as we arrived, which was on a Canadian holiday, and were pleasantly surprised that they answered and agreed to send a mechanic the next morning. He arrived on time, carefully checked the tank vent, rebuilt the pump, tightened the deck fitting, and the problem was fixed. When we got their bill, i questioned the amount of time, and they readily agreed to reduce it. Working with Raven was a very positive experience.
