We were looking for some live edge to be used for a floating shelf in our kitchen. Sydney worked with me over the phone to get an idea of what we were looking for and then picked out a great piece that met all our needs. She climbed up on the rack to take pictures for us before we made the drive out to ensure it was what we wanted! That kind of customer service doesn't exist anymore. We went out and looked around all the awesome stuff at their mill, finalized the dimensions we needed and paid for the piece. I came out a few days later once it was all milled with a template for our brackets and Austin and his coworker knocked it all out for me. They did an awesome job and I'm glad I had them do it, as I originally thought I'd just do it myself at the house. Once I got it home I test fit it and it was perfect after a little sanding. I had asked them to cut it a tad longer than I needed so I could get the perfect fit! With Sydney's advice, I sealed it up with some minwax and it really brought out the beauty of the wood. The pictures don't do it justice. My wife and I are as happy as could be with the outcome and the entire experience. We will definitely come back again when we're ready for more and I'd recommend them to anyone!

**Beware of Ewing: Customer Service Disappears After the Sale!**…read more After years of purchasing materials from a reliable landscape supplier, I decided to give Ewing a shot, and it was a massive mistake. Initially, the staff was friendly and eager to make a sale, but things took a turn for the worse when they damaged my driveway during a materials delivery. The driver had ample space to pull in straight and dump the load, but instead, he chose to back in. As a result, he drove the semi-trailer tires over my driveway, tearing up the asphalt and creating a significant mess. I've had larger trucks deliver materials without any issues before, so this was unacceptable. I promptly reached out to Ewing, and the manager, Ricardo, told me to get a repair quote. I emphasized that we had a family event that weekend, and the damage was right at the entrance of my driveway. I remained calm and respectful, simply asking for them to do the right thing. Days passed, and my follow-up messages to Ricardo went unanswered. I gave him the benefit of the doubt due to the approaching weekend, but ultimately, I had to cover the $1,350 repair cost myself. When I finally heard back the following week, Ricardo informed me that his management didn't want to take responsibility for the damage their company caused. Incredible! There's a pattern with this shady company, see the photos attached of other unsatisfied customers that had their property damaged. If such damage occurred at their personal property, would they have simply brushed it off? Ewing is a greedy company with numerous locations. Save yourself the hassle--many other suppliers out there value customer service and accountability. Keep your business local!

Archstone Artisans exceeded our expectations with their craftsmanship and attention to detail. We…read moreconsulted several stone fabricators to help us upgrade our home by changing the dark granite tile kitchen and bathrooms to solid slab surfaces. The team at Archstone Artisans is truly top-tier. From Shane, who helped quote and design our kitchen so that the lines flowed smoothly, to the guys in the back who were able to chisel the quartzite and make it absolutely smooth. (Several fabricators said we couldn't chisel quartzite because it was too brittle). Archstone Artisons knew how to do it and get it right! And enough can't be said about Felipe and Justin, who measured and helped install to make sure we could keep our current tile and make the backsplash look seamless from new to old. And that took A LOT of work. We have a true family-owned business here in New Braunfels who can run circles around fabricators in the bigger cities and give you the personal attention that we all hope to receive with such a major investment.

Review of countertops by Archstone Artisans, In early 2020,…read moreArchstone Artisans assisted us in selecting a quartz countertop for our home remodeling project. This remodel included a master bath, complete kitchen re-do, and addition of a sunroom with a 7' countertop on cabinets. With the help from Archstone Artisans, we selected quartz material that was well within our budget and satisfied our taste. Due to the Covid-19 situation and reduction of construction staff our home remodel was slowed, Archstone Artisans stored our slabs for nearly six months until our project allowed for the installation of all our countertops. The installation of these countertops went smoothly without any hitches. The workmanship was beyond reproach and very satisfactory. Our new countertops look great. All extra material was squared for use as future end tables; we even acquired squares that could be used as coasters. Extremely satisfied, Geoffroy and Kathleen

They came out to repair it, but the crack is just continuing to grow and it's now in front of the pump traveling toward the edge of the sink. I'm a little depressed thinking about what's going to happen when the two pieces finally separate completely. No way can I sell my home now without someone asking for a credit for a new countertop. The areas where two pieces of granite meet were not put together very cleanly so you can not only see but feel the seam very clearly. Lastly, the granite was not sealed so it immediately began to stain with water. They sent someone to remove the stain, but instead of removing the stain the worker put sealer on the counter without cleaning it and now the water stains are sealed in. This was beautiful granite. It looks awful now. Between the seam, the cracks and the staining you would never know this counter is brand new and less than a year old. The only thing that could resolve this issue for me would be for them to replace the pieces of granite they did a poor job with. We had asked our builder several times to please have them resolve these issues. They came once and made a shoddy attempt at fixing the crack around the soap pump and sealed in the water stains, but after that were never seen or heard from again despite the worker telling me they'd be back to try something different with the cracks, seam, stains. If they materialize and fix my countertop I would gladly update my review, but as of right now I would not recommend using this installer. The warranty apparently was just a talking point so go elsewhere.
