We called Blackfork after an accident left us stuck on the side of the highway, 200 miles from home, on New Years Day when most towing companies were closed. Rod was there within minutes. Not only did he give us a tow, but he drove us to the airport to get a rental car back to Boston, and he gave us great advice on dealing with insurance (car ended up being totaled - would probably have had to come all the way back to VT to clean it out if not for Rod). I locked myself out of my apartment when I went to throw out the trash. Ended up at a neighbors place since I also didn't have my cell phone. Tried calling the property management company only to get a fax machine sound. Then tried the fire department number only to get a message that they would return my call in 3 days. Next tried the police department only to be told they don't do that as it's a liability. Also tried several locksmiths, I had to leave a message with nearly all of them, one told me they don't come as far as my area.
