This was our first time getting a piercing done professionally, rather than the usual childhood experience with piercing guns at mall stores, and Caleb was incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout the whole process. Caleb took the time to explain everything clearly, including how the piercings would be done and what to expect. He was very precise with placement, even measuring carefully to make sure everything was symmetrical and that we were both happy with how it looked before starting. After the piercings, he went over the aftercare instructions in detail and made sure we understood how to care for them properly. I was honestly more nervous than my daughter, but Caleb's calm and friendly demeanor made the entire experience feel safe, comfortable, and positive. Highly recommend Caleb and this shop, especially for first-timers, teens, or anyone who might be a little anxious. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Finally a piercing shop that actually has earrings for your piercings, seems like a given, but it's…read morenot. I went to three different piercing shops on Long Island and not one of the shops had hoop earrings for my tragus or forward helix piercings. So I had to drive four and a half hour away to find a hoop. (Alright, I was in the area, but still.) So I'm strolling down Main Street in Oneonta and I see this place but they didn't open until noon so I walked into another piercing place down the street and they didn't have any hoops either. I really cant understand the concept of calling yourself a piercing shop if you don't have a variety of earrings to put in peoples' piercings. When this place opened at noon I walked in and voila, hoops for tragus piercings, amazing stuff, really. Side note: this place is airy bright and CLEAN. I was loving the exposed brick with the art on the walls, really nice place and made you feel like you were working in a sterile environment when necessary. The guy helping me was great and super knowledgable about all things piercing. He showed me a hoop and I didn't like the color of it, I wanted rose gold. He told me they could do some sort of magic back there to change the color of the hoop. Something with water light ions electrical activity, everything over my head basically. The hoop was $15 and since I hadn't had a piercing in my tragus for a few months, he wanted to do some kind of sterile insertion, which cost an additional $5. I have gone to piercing shops all over Western, NY have had my earrings sterilized and it didn't cost me anything but this place used a special machine to sterilize their equipment so paying the additional $5 just to be extra safe didn't bother me at all. The guy talked me through everything he was doing, which made me feel super confident in what he was talking about and also comfortable. I watched the sterilization process and also watched him change the color of the earring. It definitely didn't come out to be the rose gold color I wanted, it was very dark but it did have a gold tint so it was good enough for me. He put the earring in no problem and I was on my way. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to buy body jewelry or have a piercing done. It is clear they know what they're doing and have a really clean environment, which is always a plus in my book.

Piercing prices are outrageous and you have to go get paper work notarized before getting one !!!…read moreWow

I have never gotten a tattoo before today, so I can't say how this place compares to others, but if…read moreI get another one I'd definitely come back to this place. Everything was super clean and sterile and the people there were very friendly. James did my and my aunts tattoo, and he made us feel very at ease and relaxed. We just got very small, simple tattoos, but they were very well done! 10/10 recommend.

I made an appointment with Daniel based on seeing a tiny bird tattoo on a waitress at a local…read morerestaurant. I wanted something small and was a tattoo virgin, so made an appointment. Daniel was charming, funny, a bit silly, but I liked his style. When we made the appointment, they were supposed to be no bigger than a business card, he said it was definitely doable, but I received a much, much bigger design on both wrists. Again, at 43, I knew nothing about tattoos. I was kind of shocked, trying to just stay calm and cool due to the pain of the tattooing. When finished, I was still in shock. Daniel (who up and left the owner high and dry to go to another studio in Oneonta) told me to come back when they were healed for the second free seating to blacken them in and I did come back, only he wouldn't schedule me. He said it needed more time. He told my young daughter that he didn't like to book non-paying gigs, but I paid up front for everything and of course, tipped. I have been trying to get an appointment for a year and finally gave one last ditch resort to message through Facebook with, "OK, I'm a newbie to the tattoo world, but every seasoned person I talked to said I shouldn't have to hunt down the original artist for my second seating as I already paid for it. I will go somewhere else as the black is so spotty, then review you online wherever I can for just blowing off a client. I needed other work done and will go elsewhere to work with a real professional. I'm on 5 major sites doing recommendations at a senior level and hopefully can spare some others this type of grief. It's just silly on your part because I actually have the cash for other projects and you just don't bother answering or giving me an appointment. Oh well." This was his reply: "I'm out of state. Ill get back to you when I'm back in the shop, sometime next week. Also you could call the shop at any time and schedule an appointment for a touch up. [He told me before just to message, which I did repeatedly for the first few months.] Which is the professional way to do something, not harass and threaten me on Facebook. [He told me to come in, I did, no appointment, he told me to msg, I did, no appt, I waited a month or more between asking.] Sorry for any delays. But for the record I told you I would touch them up about a year or so ago. So please don't give me Sh*t and slander my name (wich is illegal by the way its called defamation of character). So again sorry I didn't get back to you right away, since yesterday. [He himself admits to not giving me an appointment for a year, so not sure why yesterday was brought in] But you have been dragging this on for over a year and expect me to jump at the whim of your convenience and a dollar. That is not fare to me in the least bit. Now I'm going to get back to the 1100 more miles I have to drive to get back home." In the end, another studio did the final seating without charging me for it, but I learned a lesson and will do my research on an artist before allowing them to permanently mark my body.
