Return visit. We came AGAIN.. Nicole was our server and we had excellent customer service again!! She really is a great waitress!! She brought every single condiment in the planet and we didn't have to ask for them! Cleanliness: prep area, tables, counters, floors .. everything very clean. Decorated for Easter. Orders: Philly Cheese with tater tots and side salad, Jalapeno burger with side winders, and ribeye steak sandwhich with side winders. Let's start w the steak sandwich, I've never seen a piece of steak that big on a roll. The roll was DELICIOUS and really added to the sandwich with its texture and taste. The sidewinders were super crispy and perfect again. The jalapeño burger (not pictured, must have accidentally deleted it) was scarfed down by my son, I'm not sure he even took a breath. My Philly cheese was pretty good, for me the tater tots fell slightly short. I love super extra crunchy tater tots and these were mildly crunchy but still above most places!! Will we return? ABSOLUTELY!!! read more

Food was perfectly cooked and delivered hot, service was stellar, and the rest was clean and well kept. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Nicole was also our server and did a great job. Condiments galore appeared. The food was excellent. My wife and I had the steaks which were good and the homemade rolls were very tasty. We highly recommend the steak dinner. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for a wonderful evening. We'll drop by again when in the area. It was very relaxing and we were well cared for. read more

Home cooking in the back of the casino. Sit at the counter, grab a table or a booth. Listen to the country music while you hear others laughing & enjoying their meals. Recommend the club sandwich. Service is good. Prices are fair. Pretty quiet place for a nice meal.

I've been here a number of times now. I've given it many chances and tried a few different dishes on the menu but I just can't get with it. The food isn't good. The pancake is probably the best of all I the things I tried but even that was fairly dry and flavorless. I will say that each time I've gone the service was pretty good. Some of the wait staff are better than others but overall, the service was the one bright spot. read more

I have learned to stick to the menu. The daily specials are never very tasty or prepared right. They do have good beef, service, and comfort foods. The prices are just okay and seem to reflect the "only game in town" message. There are a very few other places in Lovelock to eat. The smoke from the casino can waft into the dining area. It is not overwhelming but not appetizing either. read more

So far, this is the only restaurant in town we've been to that was able to serve soda NOT from a can (I think) so that's a plus! Service here was great! We were allowed to sit anywhere we wanted, so naturally we chose by the fireplace (it was a warm 35°F outside). We started with a "small bite" appetizer of onion rings, which could have been easily enough for 4/5 people. Definitely an abundance of onion rings for $4. For dinner we both got the country fried steak, I got the dinner and was able to try the beef vegetable soup with noodles, served with 4 saltine crackers. Very delicious and hearty soup, I added a pinch of salt. The steak was breaded and cooked great, and the mashed potatoes are creamy and absolutely delicious. All in all we will be back, especially to try more on the menu! read more

Very friendly and clean I ordered the fry chicken which was mostly breaded but once you cut if off the chicken was pretty good. A little cigarette smell from the casino. It was a good stop in the middle of no where. read more

Been here before. Place was good. But with my usual cocktail, what do i get!? A lime wheel.... A GODD*** LIME WHEEL!!!!!!!!!!!! ONCE AGAIN, WASTE OF MONEY and Im NOT gonna get lime everwhere on my hands and in my fingernails, rather than in my drink. If we get beyond this gaff, this rating will improve, and the review will go on. SO sick of fly by night and unknowledgeable bartenders and penny pinching bar owners that have NO idea what it takes to run a successful establishment, without stepping over dollars to pick up pennies. By that I mean, instead of sellling me this SINGLE cocktail, that I won't even drink now, you were SURE to sell me at LEAST 3 or 4 more, if you knew what you were doing. First impressions are EVERYTHING. From this point forward. Regardless of other positives in a bar/restaurant that I experience, they will get a 1 star rating because of this. Bar owners need to learn proper bar etiquette, and properly train their bartenders, because your "profits" (LIME WHEELS) end up STRAIGHT in the trash, Unless Im ordering a cocktail that a LIME WHEEL is used as an AESTHETIC garnish. Love this town, love the people. Don't know what happened to this place. Food was almost decent....except for the bread sandwich and fried bread. (AKA french dip and fried chicken). AND LIME WHEELS . read more

Food was comfort style and very tasty, we were greeted by friendly staff. We were both full after our meals. Clean and a fireplace was going which was pleasing on a cold day. Service was good. I had a cheese burger with clam chowder soup, son had a chicken fried steak (8oz) with mashed potatoes and gravy, side of salad. This is a halfway point between our homes, we agreed we will definitely return. read more

They were out of much of the menu items on a Tues. night at the end of the day, but my fried chicken was good and since they were out of mashed potatoes, I got sweet potato fries, which were good. My husband enjoyed his steak. The service was good and the staff was friendly and attentive. If you want to avoid the smoke from the casino, you can enter the restaurant directly on the side of the building. You still have to walk into the casino to use the restroom. We went here to eat on our way to Sandy, UT. I wasn't very hungry so I got the pretzel bites and my husband bought some too, as well as a chicken strip dinner. He LOVED the chicken strip dinner, he said it was delicious. The pretzel bites were so good and so different then every other place we've been that on our way back home a week later, we stopped by just to get the pretzel bites. The place was clean and the waitress was kind. The casino that is attached to the restaurant was small, but that's all I can say for that part, since we didn't play. read more

The food is fine but overpriced, and the menu they have online isn't up to date. The item I wanted to order isn't available anymore and nothing else looked as good, plus the prices were higher. The casino smoke isn't too bad, but if that bothers you, go somewhere else. I could definitely smell it Overall the experience was ok and the portion sizes were decent, but next time I'm here with a hotel room I'll just go to Safeway and get a microwave dinner Service was good at least I got the patty melt read more

Brad Stevens Lovelock, NV As a resident and patron of this Casino Bar and Dinner it's the best Lovelock can offer, service is quick the food is very hot and fresh, I take pleasure in a Cob Salad when I dine with friends the burgers best in town just be hungr. As food goes the price is better than anywhere else in tow. Only bad thing about this place it needs a wall and doors to and from the Casino the Cigaret Smoke from that area tends to enter the diner. read more

There's not much in Lovelock, only about four or five places to eat total. This is part of a casino and we went here after watching my friend's kid at a wrestling meet. We were grumpy from the long drive from Carson and wanted to tuck into some grub before hitting the road again. The menu features burgers, sandwiches and other simple, American fare. After almost getting the Monte Cristo sandwich I settled on a chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. It was really good and I was surprised at the great creamy peppercorn flavor of the house made gravy. My friends burger featured a juicy patty, thick cut fries, and she said it was excellent. My kiddo got a generous peanut butter and jelly sandwich off the small kids menu that was huge. So big we took home leftovers. Try this place of you are swinging through. Staff was very friendly and helped us out to look at local attractions. read more

Terrible. Nonfunctioning. Unrsponsive. For all legal purposes should NOT be listed as a restaurant. I was handed a menu at roughly 7pm. I was incompletely ignored by said help for over a half hour. I have never left a place of patronage after having a drink without paying, but Black Rock Grill brought a new side of my character out of me: in a bad way. Avoid this hole like a potential STI. Zero value: no food, and possibly the worst customer service one could ever encounter. Go to a gas station and buy garbage, you will be more satisfied. read more

The service and food were great! I ordered an omelette with mushrooms, bacon and cheese. There was a TON OF BACON! I also asked if I could sub a biscuit and gravy for the toast and hash browns, I still got the hash browns...the biscuits and gravy was great too! We were all n town for a family wedding and this was the only place we ate out at.... I highly recommend this place!!! read more

Stopped for lunch on a Friday. Our service and food were very good. This restaurant is adjacent to the C Punch Casino which has recently been remodeled. The waitress brought a carafe of water for the table. Awesome. I ordered the Friday special which was fish, chips and Cole slaw. The fish was two giant pieces of fish which were crispy, fresh and tasty. The batter is very thick, but was cooked all the way through. The chips were a good size helping of standard french fries. The Cole slaw was fresh made its sweet like KFC Cole slaw. My husband had a burger with pork belly on a pretzel bun with fresh greens. He was impressed with the freshness of everything. It was a very nice break from driving. The casino looked nice too. Towns are few and far between on this stretch of highway. If in doubt, stop and check it out. read more

Breakfasts have been decent. Someday, my hashbrowns will be crispy and well done when I order them like that. Dinner has been okay. Just remember it's a small town, and enjoy accordingly. Staff has always been nice, and that's always important. read more

This place is meh. And expensive for what you get. I've had the cheeseburger, which was unimaginative and dry, and the steak sandwich which was fatty. My husband has had breakfast here and he said it was expensive for standard eggs home fries and toast - even without meat. As someone else mentioned their hours are erratic. They seem to open and close whenever they feel like it. Service is not awesome. Not sure what they're trying to do.... I would rather eat at McDonald's than here. read more

Good food and friendly service. I got my food to go tonight and everything was as good as it is when I eat in. Best club sandwich I've had in quite some time read more

slow service from the kitchen, but our waitress "donna" is a natural western beauty.

The food is on par with a cheap truckstop or diner, but you pay a bit more for the surprisingly modern, attractive and comfortable setting. Country fried steak was rubbery and tough. Probably cooked well in advance and simply died under a heat lamp. Country gravy was institutional in character but carried good flavor. Lousy toast; big airy slices of bread slathered in some kind of margarine-esque oil blend. Hashbrowns just fine. Coffee a solid "C+" Prices are higher than you'd expect given the food quality, but adjusted for the atmosphere I was fine with it. I wasn't expecting much, but the dining room and seating were very welcoming and fresh. They even had a fireplace. Service was no-nonsense in the way of truckstop waitresses, but straight-forward and friendly enough. A really good option in Lovelock. Given the crowd of locals I'd say this is a solid place. No smoking in the restaurant but odors from the attached casino are unavoidable. Comes down to your tolerance of smoke. There's an arcade area a short walk across the casino with kid-friendly games, and a nice pool table as well. read more

It was Ok. The service was great. But I made the wrong choice of having chicken tenders and onion rings. Wayyyy to greasy. My husband had a hot dip sandwich and he said it was pretty good. I do have to rant that I disliked that it was part of the casino. It smelt like cigarettes horribly. But like I said I was happy with our server. She was very welcoming read more

They don't care whether your food is good, hot, or even serving you more than kids size proportions for what your paying. We went there and there baked potato wouldn't have been big enough for my 3 year old on a steak special. Same goes with the other vegetables that were served. My sons was way too hot for a toddler and if I wouldn't have intercepted the plate would have burned him. I asked for a medium rare steak and it came out almost raw and blood was everywhere when I cut into it. At this point I was done and just gave my dinner to my husband who likes rare steaks so he could have a filling meal. Waitress was inattentive and I had to call her across the restaurant to tell her about really cold potato (wouldn't melt butter) and took over 10 minutes to clean plates from table and I had to ask for a refill. I reached out personally to management through Facebook only to make them aware of the situation and they basically said I was lying but also admitted that some of what I was saying was true regarding the cold potato. As a business owner I would never do this especially when a customer is offering good criticism and not asking for anything in return. I have all screenshots of messages if they would like to dispute this review, which I am only doing because they accused me of doing it anyway......when I tried to be an adult and just offer good criticism privately. read more

We ate breakfast here. It was edible, but I wouldn't chose to come back. Everything tasted like it was frozen and undercooked.

I can't speak for too much I guess, but we popped in on an overnight in Lovelock and grabbed a couple steak sandwiches. They were huge, cheap, and hit the spot. Sodas were well mixed and service was on top of everything and pleasant. I played some quick slots after our meal and walked away with $5 more in my pocket! read more

Patty melt hit the spot. I was hungry. They were out of rye bread, not a big deal. The burger was just barely medium rare. Waitress didn't ask how done I wanted it. I always have my burgers fully cooked because the bacteria gets churned up in there, not like a steak, where the inside is sealed in & the outside gets hot enought to kI'll the critters. Anyway, I was hungry & I inhaled it. My system struggled with it a little the next day, but I'm alive to tell about it. The restaurant appears to have been remodeled recently with nice tables & booths, rich textures & colors of flooring, walls, drapes. And there's a lunch counter. Kinda cool. My waitress was very nice. Maybe my overall experience was colored by the fact that Nevada can't separate gambling & smoking, & that smell & sound hit you when you come in the door. read more

We have stopped in for dinner twice. Both unsuccessful. The first time was on a weekend. When we reserved our room we asked what time the restaurant closed. We were told 9 so shortly after 8 we went to eat and they were closed. Only cooking food for employees. We were told they close according to business. Again last night we stayed at hotel and looked over restaurant was busy so about a quarter to 8 we walked in. Our waitress who was very rude set down 2 menus and said we are closing at 8 your choice is a Club Sandwich or BLT. 1st time same on you 2nd shame on me we will not return. read more
