They ended up slammed and handled it like champs. We opted for the bar & were given menus immediately. We were offered samples and given honest opinions. We started with a flight of every in-house brew and all the sours. We preferred the in-house brews on most styles. It was explained that they brew gluten-reduced beer, which is a new concept for me. I have a gluten sensitivity and power through, as gluten-free options are ROUGH. I can honestly say that I was a big fan of Strong Beard Game Stout - straight up delish. This easily topped many stouts I've had. For food, we had a beer cheese soup, pretzel & the pulled pork mac-n-cheese. No complications! read more

We stopped in here for a late lunch on the way to our campground. Had a deeeeelicious lunch of a pizzadilla (don't judge me), half of a Reuben, sweet potato fries with marshmallow sauce, and a pretzel with beer cheese. Everything was delicious. I tried a flight of five beers and my favorite was the sour named "Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows". All of the beers were good. I had the No Joke, Drool, Riggs, Smash, and unicorns in my flight. The marshmallow and sweet potato fry combo was amazeballs! read more

We came across this little gem during a quiet stroll through downtown Devils Lake. I was so excited to find a Hazy IPA in North Dakota! We came back the next day & brought some friends. We tried many of their different beers & different food items on the menu. We were very impressed with everything. We loved meeting Jeb & his dad Dave, who has many stories to tell about the history of Devils Lake. Our absolute favorite was meeting their current Newfoundland Mascot, Norm. Amazing little gem of a brewery in Devils Lake. Nicely done and it has a very "brew vibe" going. We got there just as it opened so that's why it is so empty. I started to fill up as we enjoyed our brew. Right now they have about a half dozen of their own signature brews on tap, with more to come as they ramp up. But you can also order other well known beers and ales as well. We didn't eat so I can't vouch for their kitchen, but what we saw at other tables looked great. We tried a flight and literally all were great. I'm partial to Pilsners myself but I enjoyed all on the board. If you are stopping by Devils Lake to fish or enjoy some water sports, this is a great place to stop in and enjoy a microbrew. read more

What a horrible FIRST TIME here. Arrived at 1:15, three other tables arrived AFTER us and all three of them were helped first. After sitting there for 15 minutes we did finally get a menu, but not a name of our server or any specials or any kind of greeting to be honest. After she kept going to everybody else but us, we got up and went to the bar. Where surprise surprise she was our server. I said we aren't getting served so I'll guess we will move up here. No apology. No explanation. Just "what can I get you". We ordered drinks and sat there for another 10 minutes. She passed us at least ten times. Never asked if we wanted food. I had to ask if we could order. Wtf kinda place is this? Is common courtesy and customer service completely out the window?? We waited an hour for TWO appetizers. You'd think they put our food on rush bc we were there before 3 other tables with big orders but nope. We did tip 20% Lordy we shouldn't have bc it was baddddd.
