Over the years - i have taken my son there to get his ears pierced. For myself, i have had my tongue pierced a couple of different times and my nose pierced a few different times. Different phases of life and taking piercings in and out is why the several times. I went to another place in town one time for a belly button piercing and ended up with a massive infection. That was the only time i dealt with infection from piercings and it was pretty horrible. I have never had that issue with any of my Tribal Rites piercings. All of my experiences have been positive there and if i decide to go back in the future to get my nose once again re-pierced it will be there!

The one tattoo I have that wasn't done at Millennium was done elsewhere ONLY because I had it done with a friend while traveling for my 21st birthday a few years back -- and even then I'd tried to talk her into meeting me in Fort Collins beforehand to have it done here. I returned to Millennium for my newest tattoo to meet another artist because I've always felt confident that they do everything they can to take care of their customers. Today I got to work with Heide, who did not let me down!! Millennium continues to be the only place in FoCo I trust to do my tattoos. I'm sure there are other quality places in town as well but I don't currently ever see myself going anywhere but here. Heide was very thorough, professional, and engaging and answered any and all questions I had. She did multiple modifications to the art I provided just to make sure I had the best version of the image I wanted, and reapplied the stencil transfer multiple times (even spotting a transfer error i hadn't) to make sure it was 100% perfect before inking. We went in for our consult and worked with Tim. Tim was very easy to work with, shared some thoughts and ideas to consider and helped us create the design and tattoos we were really excited about. Tim sent a final mockup the week before and we made some subtle changes. The morning of Tim met with us to discuss size, placements and final details. Again I really appreciated Tim sharing some ides, thoughts and best practices to ensure we had the best possible end result. In the end, we were VERY happy with our tattoos (my wife's first and my third). This is the best work I have had done to date in a clean, safe, friendly environment. I received a beautiful semi-traditional moth tattoo from Makile (pronounced like ma-Kyle for when you call to request him) and could not have been happier with the experience. I emailed the shop with some pretty specific ideas about what I would like my tattoo to look like (I've learned to be picky - its on you forever!) and he was entirely accommodating. He incorporated all my ideas and was super nice about my request to re-size it several times to fit in nicely with other work I already have. He took his time laying out supplies and keeping everything super clean and tidy while he worked. When the time came to actually get stabbed with a needle several thousand times in a row, he worked quickly and efficiently, keeping suffering to a minimum. As for the tattoo itself - it turned out better than I had pictured. The lines are smooth and bold, the shading is dark, and the color pops. Beautiful attention to detail! I will also mention that the price was below what I expected to pay, but that was just a bonus. Makile is going to be my go-to guy from now on, 10/10 would absolutely recommend. The dude just knows what he is doing and does it well and with confidence. Zero complaints, and this is coming from a skilled complainer.

I called the shop and Toni was quick to answer. We had some technical difficulties with the photo I emailed her for reference but Toni was very patient and helpful. At one point she had to hand up to check with her artists and see what was available, she called me back promptly and was just as pleasant as before. She set us up with Adam who has an impressive portfolio. He didn't seem upset at the last minute appointment added to his day and drew up a great design that my mom loved! The tattoos were small enough he got them done quickly. But his line work was incredible and he even added in a little bit of shading which was beautiful! I ended up getting a piercing once I was done with my tattoo, and the piercer was fast and informative! I also told her I was traveling from out of town, and she was very kind to ensure I has enough cleaning solution for my trip and when I left back home.
