The website specifically says "We also serve eggs cooked to order & omelets, breakfast casseroles,…read more...". There were no eggs cooked to order, nor any omelets or breakfast casseroles. There was a small buffet that contained scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausage links, as well as some pastries, cereal, and a few other items. This was extremely disappointing. Since my husband is a big breakfast person, we probably would have chosen another hotel, had I known this. We had a kitchenette room and did chuckle at the included pots & pans, since there was no cooktop/stove for using them. The only appliance for cooking meals was a microwave. The kitchenette room did include a full size refrigerator. The room itself was mostly really good, including a very comfortable bed, a decent desk area, and a good sitting area. However, the sink for the bathroom was located outside the bathroom area, between the kitchenette and the closet, which made things a bit awkward when someone was attempting to get ready at the sink (with minimal clothing on) and someone else needed to go in/out the main room door. The bathroom itself was stifling hot due to lack of airflow. We ended up propping the door open (it would not stay open on its own) so that some of the room air conditioning would flow in there.

There was one room left in town. I had to get that room. It was a dive. Candlewood Suites never offered to pay for it. I even made my reservation with the front desk, lady not even an online reservation. They never offered to make anything right with me. It has been almost a week and I still have not gotten a call from Candlewood suites in Craig Colorado. IHG is working with me and they have been wonderful, but Candlewood Suites hasn't had the decency to call me back. Beware in making a reservation with this establishment, they see nothing wrong with canceling your reservation and not even contacting you.

I took an iron to the sheets and this made them surface. Also, come to find out bedbug bites can take 7 days to appear, we only knew they were there so soon because my sister turned out to be severely allergic. Mine turned up 4 days later. My sister had 47 bites I had 26. Infested! The manager said she had an exterminator and said they found nothing. I did not get proof of this just her words. This is my first time ever dealing with this and I must say this manager is very unprofessional and needs more customer care training. She seems to be protected though because I can't talk to the owner cause the manager has to release the info. I know who the owner is through a search but IGH told me the owner is emailed everything along with the manager. so my guess is the owner doesn't care either. IGH needs a better system and I will never stay at one of their hotels in the future.

They are very friendly and helpful. Whether you need to find a restaurant, hardware store, processor, whatever they will help you out and take care of you. As I said I was in Craig on an Antelope hunt, did I mention how helpful the owners are? They went as far as to loan me their shooting rest for the week to use on my hunt. Called me one day when they knew I was hanging around the motel to make sure I had lunch offering to bring me a bbq sandwich if I didn't. I mean who does that?
