Kudos to BKB for standing still in the cursed industry of bars in the Philippines. Most of my friends are musicians and I, myself used to be in a band, so independent bars like this has always been a part of my social life.
BKB may be small, but cozy and flexible enough to hold gigs of various genre (from rock, blues, reggae to metal and even protest music). It is one of the top underground bars in Quezon City where quality independent music and progressive gatherings meet.
I have a lot of friends who have held events in BKB and they were always more than happy and satisfied with the services from the bar and the kitchen crew, the place and the management. For my musician friends who usually play here, they particularly commend the quality acoustics and sound system of the place.
BKB also offers a variety of alcoholic beverages, appetizers, burgers and rice meals raging from ₱100-200. Not bad at all! Although if you're hungry and kinda want to feed yourself a lot, you might get disappointed with their amount of serving. read more
