The place has a great local vibe and a busy, energetic atmosphere. The cashier was pleasant, respectful, and gave excellent recommendations. It's definitely a hidden gem off the beaten path, but well worth seeking out--clearly a spot both locals and well-researched visitors find. Loved the local artwork for sale on the walls, which added to the character of the space. Everything about the experience felt authentic and welcoming. Highly recommend if you're nearby and want a solid, memorable lunch.

Ok, this is one of the first places in Savannah where the price matched with the portion. $3.75 for a slider and $1.50 for half tray of fries. Also $1 for a side of ranch, but can't complain it was a big portion of ranch. We ordered just the regular sliders, one without veggies (for me) and one with veggies (for my girlfriend). The patties themselves were flavorful, but it was really just the patty, I barely noticed the bacon. Bacon cut could've been thicker, or another piece of bacon; to make the layers for distinct. My girlfriend said she didn't realize there was bacon, she did enjoy the slider however. The fries were so good. It kind of reminds me of the In-n-Out well-done fries; superrrr crisp. The ranch was really good too, garlicky a little, and thick consistency. The service was fast and nice. We were one of the first people in, so everything moved smoothly. The ambience is very homey feeling, like I'm eating in someone's home - which I enjoyed. I don't like when a burger spot tries to glorify the inside even though they're just burgers. To sum it up: If the slider had a thicker slice of bacon on the burger, not really thick, maybe the thickness of 2 pieces of bacon just to get the difference textures, this would be 5/5.

*Note* Review is for experience with The Naked Dog food truck during COVID-19…read more The Naked Dog food truck did not come into my life soon enough! During the COVID-19 quarantine we have had several local food trucks from the area rotate for lunch/dinner during the week. I am so sad I only made it to The Naked Dog once before I moved back north. I am a hot dog lover, so imagine my difficulty in not ordering every variation from the menu! My husband and I decided on a few to split (not knowing their size): a classic Naked dog with classic toppings (ketchup, mustard, relish); a slaw dog; a Reuben dog; and a Chicago dog. If I could be speechless in a written Yelp review, I'd leave it at that. The dogs were jumbo sized, toppings were plentiful, tasty and temperature just right. The slaw dog was my absolute favorite - the cole slaw had the perfect consistency and was simple enough to not overpower the dog itself. The Reuben was a legit sandwich on a burger, pastrami and all. The dressing was perfect. The Chicago was classic and wonderful, complete with the unique green Chicago relish. Last but not least, smoothies! What better pair than a smoothie and a dog? We tried peach and strawberry. They were fruity, had chunks of real fruit and were not overly sweet. Just amazing! Y'all, please go have a hotdog or three on my behalf until I'm able to return to Savannah again!

Home of Savannah's most awarded burger!…read more Green Truck may be one of the best burgers in Savannah, and they have many certificates of recognition hanging along the walls. This small restaurant offers big flavors with local ingredients and grass-fed beef from a local farm. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating along with a few spots at the bar. Service is quick and staff is helpful when substitutions are needed - gluten free bun or veggie patties are available. My personal favorite is the Rustico burger with a smooth goat cheese, balsamic caramelized onions, roasted red peppers and fresh basil. It offers a perfectly balanced sweet and savory bite. Their homemade ketchup is also delicious - nothing like you are accustom to. Also try the Pimento cheese plate - a southern classic. A perfect pairing with the tart pickles!

I ordered a veggie burger done Greek Style (Feta, olive tapenade, banana peppers, cucumber slices, L,T,O). The sandwich was great, but I had to ask for some mayo because it was a bit on the dry side, the olive tapanade was working hard but it was no match for all of those ingredients together. Good place, I would come back to try other stuff off the menu

On this visit, I just explored the hot dog side of the house. I ordered the chili cheese hot dog and fries meal. The employee taking my order also appeared to be responsible for preparing the orders in the kitchen. My order took about twenty minutes to appear at my table after paying. The all-beef hot dog was hearty and filled me up. The French fries were a different type than I am used to receiving, but they were delicious. There is an electronic ax-throwing game in the restaurant, which was closed, so I did not experience that. Crave is located in the middle of what I call a SCAD block of dorms and classrooms. This visit was a couple of days after graduation so the place was not full. Nothing bad to report, I may try some BBQ on a later visit.

The iPhone GPS brought us to the back side of the building, but we eventually found the entrance across from the former Ghost Coast Distillery. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop inside (no background music). I was surprised to see an axe throwing lane! And a wall of beers on tap. There were few other patrons dining at the time. This is an order at the counter and they bring your food out joint. It took about 15-20 minutes to prepare our one to go meal. My husband ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, which came with fries and a choice of side. He opted for the coleslaw. They offered us a complimentary cookie which I enjoyed on the way out. The to go order was served in a paper box and a paper bag. No napkins or utensils were given (this is the new "green" initiative businesses are doing, which I appreciate). By the time we got home to eat, my husband said the sandwich was great but needed more sauce. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They mentioned there will be a grand opening party in coming days. I am glad to see this area of the historic district being built up with hot & new businesses!
