Stopped in here for a drink after a flight from Anchorage. Delicious brews and friendly bar tender. If you get a chance I recommend the Nitro Mocha Porter and the Halfstack Hefe. They do serve food here but we didn't order anything. Not well signed so at first we didn't know if we were in the right spot. Look for the Pit Stop Tavern and you're in the right spot.

Enbar - Enbar fries with habanero bacon jam and bbq sauce

    Enbar

Before heading to a Great Falls Americans hockey game last week, I stopped in for dinner and drinks…read moreat Enbär, and it turned out to be the perfect pre‑game move. While I'm usually an old fashioned kind of person, this time I went rogue and ordered the Fireside Chat--a decadent mix of marshmallow‑infused vodka, white chocolate, cream, and chocolate, finished with a toasted marshmallow garnish. Comforting, rich, and just indulgent enough, it paired surprisingly well with the Enbär fries. And let's talk about those fries: bring your appetite. Even the half size could easily feed a table of ravenous folks. They come with two dipping sauces of your choice, and while I felt a little bad neglecting the BBQ sauce, I could not stop going back for the habanero bacon jam. Sweet, spicy, smoky--absolute scene stealer. For dessert (or what technically landed in the dessert slot), I had the Asian salad with chicken, which was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and a nice counterbalance to all the indulgence that came before it. Great drinks, generous portions, and a warm, inviting atmosphere make Enbär a standout. Whether you're fueling up before a game or just settling in for a relaxed night out, this is a spot worth lingering in.

We were told no other tables were available and if I wanted a low top table I should've requested one in the comments when I made the reservation. I didn't see any place for special requests. The manager/owner spoke to us but offered nothing but an "I'm sorry". He could have comped our drinks. The service was rushed. We had our entrees dropped on the table before we finished our salads. The dessert came out before we were done with the entree and the bill came before we were finished with our drinks. The servers didn't know where to deliver the food. The food was decent but not exceptional. Not the special experience I hoped for. The couple next to us were delightful but they too were surprised by the seating at a communal table on a romantic holiday. I will think twice before choosing the EnBar for a special occasion.

Do you feel awkward parking at a hotel that looks like a total dump just to go upstairs to this bar? Yes, but you still should. I ended up going on my own, and came back with colleagues the last night of our trip as it's a must stop. As I'm sure we all know, what makes it fun and unique is the dancing Mermaid performances in the pool behind the bar. Such a cool concept to watch them entertain you while you enjoy a good drink. My first time in the bartender was fantastic and giving me all the history of the place, and how the pool used to just be the hotels' actual swimming pool, and guests would swim in it, no Thank you. I ordered the cranberry cherry limeade, not realizing that it was basically a bucket full of booze, equivalent to three drinks (not complaining, just forewarning) also enjoyed chatting with the bartender about how the place is haunted. Definitely gives off that vibe and total dive bar/tiki feel. I'd come back every time I'm in this town or on a road trip. 21+---although they allowed a few families to come in with kids for a minute and get a picture by the mermaids, which I thought was super cool. And yes, you can tip the maids too! I didn't get any food from the restaurant, but I heard from a few it wasn't amazing so I think this is just a dive drinking spot for me.

Most of the building is unoccupied at this time. There is no direct bathroom in the restaurant so you have to walk down the hallway. There is also a tattoo shop on the second floor. We walked in and though it was not busy took about a good 5 mins for us to be acknowledged and then told to seat ourselves any where. We ordered our drinks fast enough but it took them a bit to get to our table. There were only 6 other people in there at the time so service should not have been that slow. Once our drinks came we ordered our food. The pesto artichoke dip was unexpected. It was a good combination of pesto, artichoke and mozzarella. Next we had the deviled eggs, nothing fancy, all the eggs tasted the same even though they are "different flavors... regular, sea salt and truffle and last seasonal." We got the taco trio each. The brisket taco had excellent flavor and was very tender. The juices made my taco shell fall apart and was very messy to eat. The chicken taco was in a verde sauce and had just enough spice to not kill the flavor. Now, the ground beef taco was nothing to write home about. It tasted like I make a home, only a lot more grease. I only took one bit and could not eat more than that. I would give it another try, just maybe not the tacos.

The linguine was A*M*A*Z*I*N*G!! Buttery, creamy, delicious...edamame, spinach, chickpeas and chicken. Never had linguine served like this and it is the best one I've ever had. The ribs and fried grits are a MUST TRY! The savory glaze, that gritty crunch and the fall of the bone ribs are tasty! The Montanan cocktail was an added treat, it was a perfect blend along with the carrot cake we ended our night with! Service is impeccable! The gal who managed the dining area was quick to bring waters, take our order, deliver our orders fresh. And did so while the dining area was fairly full! The vibe in this place is fun and seemed like a popular spot amongst the locals. It is kept clean and well maintained. The patio area is spacious and dog-friendly. There is a bar area but we haven't made our way into that area yet. But we definitely plan to visit again and try other menu items! I had my heart set on a salad I had seen on the menu just two days before....but they had changed the menu! I ended up with some broccolini and chicken which was also tasty.
