The first time I use this car service was with my children getting dropped off at the airport to go on a trip and the 6 of us fit spaciously. All the luggage fit in the trunk just fine. The second time was with my hubby for date night and didn't want to have to worry parking in SF. Now the third time, she showed up 15 minutes early for me to take my elderly mother to a doctors appointment and she said it was because she wanted to make sure that we got there with enough time to comfortably get her in & out and onto her appointment!! AMAZING!! Like how thoughtful is that though! Definitely have recommended her to family and friends and even my coworkers!

Sometimes I dread flying in and out of SFO, not because of the traffic, the terminal, or the often…read moredelayed flight. I dread it because I have to take the company approved limo service, LeGrande Affaire. When they're good, they're good, but when they're bad, they just don't show up. For the most part, the drivers are courteous and know when to keep quiet when I'm catching up on some much needed sleep. Others can read the situation and will fill me in on the local sports action, after a week abroad watching nothing but auto racing, sailing, and chess. The two star rating is reflected on the dispatchers, who have left me scrambling to find a ride to the airport at the last minute and have also forgotten me outside baggage claim after a looong trip. I'm more inclined to ask someone to drive me rather than risk it with LGA.

I tried booking this company for shuttle service from the Oakland airport. I booked a week in…read moreadvance and received a confirmation email. My departure flight was at 5:30AM, so I went to bed early the night before. The company sent me a text message around 9:00PM the night before saying the amount of luggage declared would not fit in the chosen minivan. I didn't have a chance to respond since I was asleep. I woke up to the text message, along with another saying my reservation had been canceled since I failed to reply. I re-booked at 1:30AM that morning to explain the luggage I had would fit, since we took a minivan to the airport. I didn't hear back from the company until I arrived at my layover location, about 2 hours prior to landing in Oakland. Instead of a text message, they emailed this time saying the reservation had already been canceled and there was no availability. So, which is it? The luggage won't fit, or there are no available drivers? I never received an answer. Since it was so last minute my group had to take BART. I was trying to avoid the train, since we had baggage, a toddler, an infant child and my father-in-law who doesn't walk very well. I would not recommend this company. They cancelled on me last minute and their texts and emails lacked professionalism!

We needed a ride from Santa Clara to SFO (on a red eye) and returning on another late-night arrival. Super nice driver. I have a regular limo driver to get me to SJC from Santa Clara but thought I would search around for other places when his quote to SFO was almost as much as a one-way flight to SoCal. Berry ASL came in at a very reasonable price. They arrived early to come pick us up but told us "Not to hurry", which was nice. The drivers were nice (very quiet) and courteous. When we arrived at SFO, I called them to confirm coming and the girl was super nice as to where we needed to meet them. We'll definitely use them again when we need a ride to SFO.

Short and sweet...Matt and A Cut Above Limo are the best!…read more I had researched over a dozen companies using Yelp and selected ACAL. Matt and Sheldon were very responsive to all of my questions, emails, calls, etc. for transporting our daughter and her friends up to The City for her 16th bday celebration. Matt arrived at our home on time and brought us up for photo ops at the base of the Bay Bridge and Palace of Fine Arts. He then took us to Calzone's for dinner and Ghiradelli for dessert. Every aspect of the experience was great. He was great to work with and very accommodating with our needs. My daughter and her friends were thoroughly impressed and in awe when the super clean and long white Hummer rolled up! We will definitely use them again for the next celebration, etc.!

We recently used one of their limos for my bachelorette party and I was thoroughly pleased by how Matt was willing to work with us despite a last minute inquiry. He was punctual, professional, friendly, and polite. We will be most definitely using "A Cut Above Limo" for our wedding. It is so wonderful to feel at peace that we will be receiving once again an excellent service at such a special day.

BEWARE! This company is dishonest!…read more I called about a wedding package deal on their site for 14 passenger bus and was told first that the price is actually $620. Per the website (see pic) nowhere does it state that price is a base charge. In fact it's all-inclusive. When I clarified what I was reading of the site, I was told they could only do $380 for 3 hours instead of the 4 hours stated. Person I dealt with was named Riz. He then said he would need to have someone who deals with these types of events contact me later in the day. Well I never received a call so I followed up. Riz was not available so I explained our agreement. The guy says he'll check if date is available in Sept next year without actually finding out the specific date and suddenly they just booked their entire fleet for that week. Tried to ask for the owner who is also mentioned on their site and here on Yelp but apparently "he no longer works there".
