You can do much better in Oaxaca than this sad imitation of Starbucks.
One highlight: my iced cafe americano with soy and vanilla was delicious. A nice balance of rich and sweet, and the espresso was strong. And they offer almond milk as well.
The lowlights:
1. Speed. Wow the employees here were slow and confused. Only the cashier was quick. I watched 3 baristas and a manager struggle to make two drinks over 15 minutes. Every drink seemed to fluster the three.
2. Wifi. They offer it, but good luck getting on the network. All info is listed on the receipt, but I must have tried 10 times with not one successful logon.
3. The other drink in our order was a comedy of errors. A frappuccino like drink ... A grande they only put one shot of espresso in! We had to give it back, and I heard one barista explain to the other she did not add the right amount the first time. I know this because I speak Spanish fluently.
Bottom line: skip it unless you are feeling generous. Maybe I was there on an off day? Maybe the place is new?
