This place is now under new management and now called black and white cat cafe. Love the new menu and newly painted interiors. The food presentation is definitely level up. Food is fresh and sumptous! read more

Absolutely divine. The refurbishment has lightened up the whole space while still maintaining the integrity of the old buildings. Food is very reasonably priced, the menu is very sophisticated and well considered. The space is so homely and the staff are so welcoming. I was a regular at the old Peppercorn Cafe and am very happy to see that the new owner has maintained the essence of the old restaurant and yet brought finer dining to the area. Much better and more on offer than any other cafe or restaurant in the surrounding towns. Would highly recomend the smashed avo. I have eaten a lot of smashed avocado, and these guys really do it the best. read more

Went out to see the kayaking at Penrith on Sunday and came back by way of Mulgoa Road. Saw the Peppercorn Café and decided to stop for coffee. When we parked the car in the carpark (off the road) we decided to have some lunch. We went in and were greeted by friendly staff who appeared to really want us there, so refreshing. We ordered a salad and a steak sandwich both were very enjoyable, we were not hungry enough for some of their lunches which we saw passing by us every now and again. One which took our eye was the almond crusted fish, it looked absolutely delicious. We had a short conversation with the owner who, although very busy, was prepared to talk about her background. We left after iced coffees saying that we would be back when we were out their way. They have plenty of seating inside and out and a function room next door. read more

The pancakes are TERRIBLE. I didn't realise I was paying for $15 for pancake shaped cardboard. Could not even cut through it! Amazing presentation, but dreadful quality. Quite literally the worst pancakes I've ever had the misfortune to try. Clearly not made fresh. You can't afford to be missing the mark on the basics when you're located in the middle of nowhere. I would have really loved to support this local business, but with their cardboard pancakes and lack of professionalism they lost me. Focus on quality before presentation. I would much rather pay for a mediocre looking dish that's at the very least edible, than an impressive looking display. It should also be noted that they charge $5 for a cup of Twinings English Breakfast tea! You can buy a 50pk for $7 at woolies! Complete waste of money. At least cut the tags off so your customers don't know they are being massively ripped off. read more

We went there in Friday and was very disappointed. The food was not good our orders were messed up and you are not able to split the bill. Simply things were left out like mushrooms to be added... but forgotten on 2 different orders when asked for them again a whole mushroom was given on a plate. Even a simple dish of scrambled eggs on toast was awful they were cooked do long they had a grey tint. I dont think i will be back i know the 9 family members who attended with me also not inpressed read more

Wow, I was told we can just come in and dine. But we got there the old in white white hair looked at us as we are Asians. We were told that its fully booked. Eventhough there are a few unreserved seats available. Racist much? read more

The customer service of this place especially from the management leaves a lot to be desired. Will never go back here even in you pay me.

The rudest staff I have ever come across we sit down and we're lectures on our parking just because it was across the road. Sad sight of affairs and pretty pathetic read more

A very nice little cafe on the outskirts of Mulgoa. We went there as a group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The staff were pleasant and reasonably helpful. The food was average at best and to be honest I really did not enjoy mine also I would say the menu was a little overpriced. The cafe was very busy so I can't be all that bad so maybe they were just having an off day. read more
