NOT BABY FRIENDLY! Bar staff very
professional and polite young ladies however the manager at 16.00 on 18th
November 2012 was very rude, arrogant and probably still lives with his mummy. On
asking to discuss with the manager my concerns over warming up a jar of baby
food, he was immediately annoying, didn't even let me explain myself. The
manager jumped right in quoting McDonalds' and the insurance? I just wanted to
know why this establishment had a chargeable children's play area but failed to
offer a microwave facility for heating up food, just as Jellybeans, IKEA,
centre parks and many others child friendly places. He would not microwave the
food for me even thou I offered to sign a disclaimer and myself and my husband
had just purchased fifty pounds worth of food and drink. I asked to use the
microwave myself to avoid any issues of legality, he said no, the only thing he
offered was to place the opened jar in a small pot of boiling water. I identified
this process to be equally dangerous and asked for a cloth so I did not burn my
fingers on the jar, to which the nasty little man then told the bar girls to
give me nothing. He would benefit from a customer service training course. I
had to use the hot pie dish my food came in, to heat the baby's food up
slightly. So all mums out there AVOID THIS PUB and do not line this mans
pockets, he was prepared to let my 8 month old little girl go hungry. This pub
needs to move with the times. I am sure
this man has had many issues with many customers before myself, his attitude
stinks, just like his greasy little body! Oh and the food is rubbish for the price of it! read more
