I had King Tree Service remove a huge dead Cottonwood tree and I could not be happier with their work. The crew - Bryce, Warren & Darrien - arrived on time, went over the basic process, worked around my inconveniently laid out backyard without complaint and left the area cleaner than they found it. The dead branches were hanging over the fence into my neighbors yard and he said they did a great job cleaning up on his side of the fence as well. The tree had grown completely against the fence and a few of the slats broke during the process. Those were replaced before they even finished the clean up. I'm not sure the damage could have been avoided considering the tree and the fence were basically married. I also wanted the stump cut to 10 feet, plus some specific branches saved and put aside. They did exactly what asked and didn't roll their eyes (at least not out loud ) Thank you for doing a great job and making the entire experience easy for me!

I did the best I could to water them. They finally showed up to plant the trees and the crew did not know what they were doing! They broke one of the root balls and didn't plant the other one very well and left a mess. The first tree died by the end of the summer and the other tree died a little over a year later. Tree trimming is like getting a haircut--wait until the next day to see if you like it. We did. My wife-unit had requested that no or minimum trimming be done on lower area of Silver Maple to ensure privacy in our dining room. I know that the trimmer really wanted to do some thinning there, as would I, but he respected our wishes faithfully. They were busy and had us scheduled out 5 weeks, but called to confirm the week prior. Said we were second in line and that they would show up between 10 and 11. They arrived at 9:59. I figured that they would be here for two and one-half hours, but with the equipment they had they were done in one hour. I had based my estimate on a "climber" not realizing how much faster everything goes with expensive equipment. I expect to have them back to winter prune an apple tree and will see them in a couple of years for a trim on my Silver Maple.
