Frank is very personable, explained all areas of interest which would raise flags, which items should be given immediate attention and others which were normal settling such as vertical/horizontal cracking. His suggestions of benefits such as additional attic insulation, drainage away from the foundation, etc., put us at ease that nothing serious was noticed, just maintaining good maintenance practices. She also lectured me about the training that engineers receive after I told her about another company that I have coming to inspect my home. She was incredibly rude and patronizing. Jim Sullivan was recommended to us to consult with. Previous architects kept getting plans rejected during the review stage due to minimal knowledge of commercial kitchens. In consulting with Jim, he pointed out all the things that we needed to address. Rather than going back to the old architect, we asked Jim to go forward with our project and he had to redraw and resubmit our plans to the city. Within 2.5 weeks of giving Jim the "go ahead", our plans were redrawn, submitted and approved for construction. What made Jim even more impressive was that our plans were not only drawn for the sake of city codes, but he also took work flow and merchandising into consideration. We are now up and running our deli/bakery and it is working out as planned. I would definitely call Jim Sullivan again for any future needs.

Then we spent a lot of time "tinkering" with it to make it perfect and she always came up with creative ideas to accomplish what we wanted. Whenever there was a problem on the job site and we needed her, she was always there. Her attention to detail and making sure the house was finished to perfection was outstanding. I wish I could build another house with her! We had such a great experience with Cheri that we decided to use Brick Owens, Landscape Architect from NSPJ for our landscape design. We didn't feel we could tackle it on our own since it was such a big job. He too was easy to work with and came up with great ideas for our different areas to keep them interesting for us all year long. And he let us cherry pick the best ideas from 5 different plans to make one plan that we really liked for a major area. Now that particular area is the show piece of our yard. Really they are both fantastic and both my husband and I had a great experience with them and anyone else we came into contact with at their firm. I enjoyed especially the fact that they were both so personable and easy to exchange ideas with and that in the end, we got both the house and landscape that we dreamed of.

We were involved in a major remodel. We worked with several members of this firm in the process…read more We encountered several issues with both the timelines and the level of detail of the final product. The plans were constantly delayed by issues of questionable believability...from medical issues of the team members to several weeks off of other team members during which there was no coverage or urgency to complete the work. When the plans were rendered, and the construction started, the elevations of the project were off substantially requiring several and major job site modifications. When portions of the plans were not complete, and the builder asked for more detailed renderings of aspects of the project, not only was this turn around slow, but there were additional charges issued...even though the builder plans were reported to be comprehensive and complete. In doing this all over, I would prefer a company that was timely, complete and accurate, terms that certainly do not describe our experience here.
