CBIZ is the insurance advisor for the condominium association of the condominium I live in. They were responsible for the placement of our Master Insurance Program. I asked our condominium's contact at CBIZ, Vice President Phillip Leek, if CBIZ sells HO-6 insurance. He said CBIZ does provide HO-6 insurance. Phil, who is based in Alpharetta, Georgia, put me in touch with Personal Insurance Advisor Brian Bradley, who is based in Cumberland, Maryland. Via phone and mostly email, I worked with Brian over the next several days ironing out what would become both my new home and auto insurance policies through Travelers. About 10 years prior, I had switched my auto insurance to Esurance. I saved a lot of money on my auto insurance at the time, but over the years, my Esurance premiums increased. Despite the rising premiums, it wasn't until I started shopping around for HO-6 insurance that I decided to switch from Esurance. The reason being Esurance doesn't offer HO-6 insurance. Long story short, Brian was able to set me up with home and auto policies through Travelers that were a better deal than what I had been paying for auto insurance alone with Esurance. My last annual premium with Esurance was $1,094 (auto only). My annual premium with Travelers is $892 ($578 for auto, $314 for home). I did change some of the coverages on my auto policy from Esurance to Travelers. I picked apart not only my home and auto quotes from Brian/Travelers, but also looked into how my HO-6 policy would cover me when it came to paying deductibles from my condominium's Master Insurance Policy as well as any special assessments from the homeowner association. I had a lot of questions and requested many changes to various coverages and limits. Brian was patient and helpful when working with me and he answered all of my questions clearly. In the end, I've got home and auto policies that I am happy with thanks to CBIZ.

I was looking for some homeowners insurance for my new place I bought. I like shopping around and…read moredid so for this too. I was surprised at how many places wouldn't even return my calls or emails to give me a quote. This office returned my call the same day, gave me a quote in 5 minutes and because it was one of the cheapest options for the coverage, I signed up before the end of the day. The real reason I am giving a 5 star review is what happened a year later when I needed to make a claim. You truly never know how good your insurance is until you have to use it. When an unconnected dishwasher hose sent water spilling under my hardwood floors causing them to buckle and be completely ruined, I had to make a claim to get them replaced. I only had to make one call to my agent. I never had to call again. Everyone called me. Within 2 hours a guy who estimates the damage called me and scheduled a time to come out. He came when he said he would and was super friendly. Not only did he check the damage but he crawled under cabinets, closets, and the basement in order to see if there was any other damage I missed. He carefully measured every inch of the place and took a sample of the wood floor. He sent it for testing to ensure I was reimbursed the exact amount of what was ruined. Testing took 4 weeks for their lab to do but I got a call every single week updating me. Then when it was finally through, they called me to let me know the outcome and I got my check the day after that call came. Finally after all was said and done the agent called me to ensure everything had went smoothly and see if there was anything else that could be done. It made a bad situation go so smoothly. The fact that I never had to make a call, wait on hold for an hour and then get transferred around to see what was going on with my claim meant a lot to me. Having them pay out everything my floor was worth (It wasn't a cheaply made floor) without me arguing the value meant a lot to me. I used them because they were one of the cheapest I found but having the peace of mind to know you are taken care of if something happens is priceless. I moved some other things like my retirement over here too because I know they will take care of it. I couldn't recommend this place enough to anyone.
