Steve answered all my questions, gave me a better price than many other Insurance companies {this go-round}, but Steve Owings seems willing to go the Extra Mile with the dealings I have had with him up to date. Mark Pritchard State Farm: A Complete Lack of Accountability & Customer Service…read more My experience with Mark Pritchard's State Farm office has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Their lack of communication and failure to properly manage my policy has caused unnecessary stress, financial burden, and even left my son stranded on Interstate 75 due to their negligence. When I added a new car to my policy, I was quoted one rate, only for it to later increase with no clear explanation. On top of that, Marcia failed to update my defensive driving course, which directly affected my rate. They repeatedly claimed they never received the certificate, but when I checked my records, I found the email where it had been sent directly to Marcia's email address--meaning the mistake was entirely on their end. This was just the beginning of a series of careless errors. My payment was not properly posted, which ultimately led to my insurance being canceled--something I only discovered because I took the initiative to follow up. Because of their failure to communicate, my son was left stranded on I-75, and when I attempted to get a tow, I was told there was no active insurance. I had to pay out of pocket for the tow, and while they eventually reimbursed me, it took weeks--an issue that never should have happened in the first place. In an attempt to rectify the situation, Jennifer assured me she would call me back, but after a week of waiting, I had to reach out again. She then told me she thought Mark was supposed to call me--but he never did. Now, I'm being told that my insurance is over $700, despite Mark himself telling me on December 18 that it would only be $500+. The constant miscommunication and lack of accountability make it feel like I was rushed just to get my money, with no regard for accuracy or proper service. Looking back, I should have known better. Two years ago, Mark's office claimed they could insure my daughter's 2019 Kia, only to drop her coverage after a month or two, saying they couldn't insure it anymore. This kind of backtracking and incompetence seems to be a pattern. State Farm should be ashamed to have this office representing their name. If you value honesty, reliability, and proper customer service, avoid Mark Pritchard State Farm at all costs.

If you live in Woodstock then you would know that Founder's is famous for their enormous Santa with two reindeer in the front of their place around the holidays....It's a Woodstock tradition! I came in to check out whether I could get a better rate on my car insurance which keeps going up about 5% every few months. What struck me about this company is that they're not a typical insurance company. Everyone here treats you like they've known you for years and years. The house itself is worth coming in and checking out. It's like a showcase home with exquisite decor and detailing. It reminded me of one of those boutique hotels in Savannah. I met with a lovely Carleigh Hart who has the best bedside manner ever. I wish everyone was as easy and friendly to deal with as Carleigh. Unfortunately they weren't able to find anything cheaper than what I'm getting with my current insurance provider. Thanks for trying Carleigh. Cheers! 1356th review 5/7/2018 276th for 2018

AAA South Left Us Stranded for More Than 2 1/2 Hours -- After 28 Years of Membership, I'm Done!…read more On Saturday, October 17, 2026, my BMW M4 suffered a damaged tire sidewall, leaving the tire completely deflated and the car undrivable. We called AAA South for towing assistance at 4:56 p.m. What followed was an absolutely unacceptable customer-service experience. AAA initially texted us that the tow truck would arrive in 77 minutes. When that time passed, we contacted AAA again and were told it would be another 47 minutes. When that estimate passed, we were given yet another ETA of 20 minutes. That time passed, too. AAA then informed us that the driver had another job and that we would be notified when he was on his way to our location. Meanwhile, we were sitting in a public park with a disabled vehicle. As the hours dragged on, it was getting dark, and we still had no reliable information about when help would arrive. We continued waiting and checking for updates around 7:00, 7:03, and 7:11 p.m. Finally, at 7:31 p.m., after waiting more than 2 1/2 hours, we canceled the tow. Think about that: We called at 4:56 p.m. and were still sitting in a public park, with darkness approaching, more than two and a half hours later. All we received were repeated changes to the estimated arrival time and no dependable resolution. I understand that emergencies, traffic, and unexpected delays can happen. But repeatedly giving a customer new arrival estimates, allowing each one to pass, and then saying the driver has another job is not acceptable roadside assistance. The following day, I called AAA corporate and informed them that I no longer wanted to be a member. After 28 years of membership, I am ending my relationship with AAA because of this experience. People pay for AAA because they expect help when their vehicle breaks down and they are stranded. We needed that help on October 17. Instead, we spent hours waiting in a public park as darkness approached, with no dependable arrival time and ultimately no tow at all. AAA South's handling of this situation was deeply disappointing. Twenty-eight years of loyalty should count for something. This experience has convinced me that I can no longer rely on AAA for the peace of mind its membership is supposed to provide. I am sharing this experience so other motorists can consider it when deciding whether AAA membership is worth the cost. I hope AAA takes a serious look at how this request was handled and makes improvements so that other members are not left in the same situation.

I just moved to Atlanta, and so I needed renters and auto insurance for when I got here. I was…read morereally excited about the process initially. Before I paid, everything went well. They gave me space after the initial call and called me again when I reached out to move forward in the process. They gave me a fantastic rate for both auto and renters insurance, honestly way cheaper through his office than any other agent or company I've gotten a quote. This was the only part of my experience that was good and that's why they get 2 stars. I mentioned that I wasn't moving to Atlanta until the end of July, so I needed my insurance to start on a specific date. Well, they didn't adhere to that and started my policies the day I paid (which was over the phone and about two weeks prior to my move). I paid and I don't know if it's something new on the system, but even though I paid in full for 6 months for auto and 12 months for renters, my policy is showing month to month payments regardless. Whatever - it shows I have that amount in credit. It still feels like a little sketchy way to do it though. Well, the following two weeks was a headache. After I paid, they were NOT responsive at all. I sent multiple emails, both directly and through State Farm's website. I talked with them on the phone, which is the only time I really got any communication. I needed them to change the effective date, and add my bf to the renter's policy. While the agent mentioned he would update it that same day, nothing ever happened. I understand sometimes it can take a few business days before the changes take effect, but it never did. I get it. Agents have tons of clients (and you can read earlier reviews about this agent stating so), but I appreciate communication. I don't necessarily need you to respond to me within 5 seconds, but at least tell me hey, we're a bit busy, but we'll get it updated as soon as we can and you should see it in the next few days. Nope. If you do decide to go with this agent, they can probably offer you a really great rate cheaper than others. However, make absolutely sure you tell them exactly what you want and when you want it to start, though it's best to be as simple as possible with your policies I guess. That's a lesson I learned with this office. Be very specific from the getgo and probably repeat it more than once. I've been a customer of State Farm for years, and have always had great service (both in Austin and Chicago). This is the only time it didn't meet high-quality standards. Ultimately, I put in an agent transfer request to a different office altogether. Moving to a different state is already a headache. I didn't need this to add to it.
