Deposit was made and the problem is it has seemed next to impossible to resolve this. I have been told several excuses and misrepresentations on how this would be settled. From refunded to my card account to dropping off a check at my premises. Neither has happened. Now I cannot get a response to the emails I sent nor the messages I have left. However, a referral to Tom and his company turned out to be one of the two best contractor choices we've made. Unusual events created circumstances where finishing this project was not going to be easy or predictable. But in spite of everything, Tom never missed a beat when regularly communicating with us or when making sure that the project completed, and completed with extreme attention to detail and finished look. Bill, as a handyman and contractor, is bit of a different story. Some of the issues I had with Bill: -We started work in June and didn't finish until December for a variety of reasons, but the critical path was replacing the windows. He quoted me a price to fix my windows that were annotated on our inspection report not realizing that the style of windows was not pre-made available and so he had to get them custom made. And of course I got charged for the difference because he had already paid for the windows. I would have definitely made a different decision had he done his homework and given me the right information up front. -There was a couple times where he said he would come to do the work and never showed up that day. -He is a poor communicator. There were MANY times I had to call him and ask him for updates (after he had given me a date he would give me an update) and come to find out the timeline was pushed out. It was too many times to be just a mistake or a coincidence. -His work lacks attention to detail. We put granite countertops in and he forgot to caulk the area between the countertops and sink. It was a mess. Bottom line is that I would not call him back. Again, Bill is a super nice guy, but I expected much better.

I got an estimate for a fence repair in December. I was told it would be completed Master's Week…read more A week before the planned start date, I added more to the project. I was told repeatedly that my project was "coming up on the schedule", but never given a new date. It got completed yesterday finally, 6 weeks after the promised date, but not without repeated attempts at communication with them about scheduling - unanswered voicemails, emails, and texts. In addition, I got multiple requests to pay the balance of the invoice before work was even started, despite the original agreement that the full amount wasn't due until completion. I then noticed a late fee tacked onto the invoice, despite the fact that the project hadn't even started. In the end, the work done was fine, but beware of their poor communication, and billing practices.

Initially excuses were made due to weather....now Jason does not answer the phone, return calls, or text messages. Jason's phone number goes directly into voicemail. When my parents call the office number (706-535-8961....registered to Jessica A.), a lady answers the phone...supposedly, Jason lives with her....She said she would relay messages to Jason.....Still no call backs. Better Business Bureau will be contacted, Richmond County Chamber of Commerce, and Richmond County police to file a report.......Ring video has footage of Jason while he was at house doing quote and getting paid (currently are considering posting photo of Jason taking advantage of elderly couple)....It appears they live in Hephzibah, Ga.
