I'm loyal to Dr. Kenshock because he is an excellent ophthalmologist. However, the wait time is RIDICULOUS! I have noticed improved customer service by most of the staff but there are still some employees that are just rude and unprofessional. I've been seen by Dr. Kenshock for many years and I like the new facility but if the wait time doesn't improve I may go elsewhere.

Second I went to another location and they were just rude with an attitude, way over priced and just didn't seem to care for their clients at all. I came here on a random google search because they could get me in so fast. It was a pretty average office nothing to complain about good music, clean and welcoming! Once I met with the optometrist (owner) just wow! Such a great man who really cares about what's going on with my eyes and even helped me with a few questions regarding my daughter. Very down to earth and a cool genuine personality. I love it here and will DEFINITELY bring my kids and my service back here !

Front desk billed and charged a fee when she should have used my FEPBlue Vision that she claimed they didn't take. Charged a $50 fee when I didn't have to pay and even questioned it before paying. Trying to make an appointment will take you days if not weeks to get someone to answer the phones. Automatically you're placed on hold to be disconnect. And you come in on time and still waiting an hour to be seen. Think the staff has gotten slack over there and now they're getting bad reviews.

Now i will say the first 2 ladies that did the initial exam of my eyes and pictures were fantastic. Super nice ladies. The first lady gets my back story. I tell her how im blind in my left eye. Ive had 2 lazer eye surgeries when i was 2 years old but it only helped my right eye. Therefore i was forced to wear a patch over my left eye and very thick glasses til i was 8 and i was back and forth to duke every 6 weeks for those 6 years because they were strengthening my right eye. And ive always worn glasses because if i dont i could potentially go blind in my right eye from the straining. So anyways i got my eyes dialated and waited to see the dr. Dr woodcock comes in takes one look at my eyes and says well the reason u cant see is because you have dry eyes. I have never in my life had a issue with dry eyes. I attempted to explain that an he cut me off would not let me speak got offended when i tried to tell him my story which was already in my notes . He started saying that I couldn't see in my left eye because of an astigmatism that was never corrected when i was younger and that my dr had failed to give me glasses when i was younger and when i explained that ive had glasses my whole life he basically called me a liar of everything ive been thru and telling me that i dont need glasses. I cant see out my right eye because my eyes were dry. But yet my eyes were doused in eye drops before even going in his room because the lady put different drops in from the testing!!!!! Now to put it to the test i asked him if lasik would help my left eye. He said no. Nothing will help my eye. Well, the last I checked and the research I've done most candidates for Lasik is because they have an astigmatism so if the astigmatism is the reason I can't see out of that eye why will it not help? I told him that I have been told numerous times if I do not wear eyeglasses, the potential of me going blind in my right eye could very much happen And he just rolled his eyes, and his opinion was right no matter what I said, but when he said that the doctor failed to give me glasses when I was younger, though it was in my notes and even though I had already told him that I had glasses just proved he didn't listen to a damn thing that I said I got my stuff and I got out of his chair. I went the hell off on him. His Excuse to me was that he has been in this business for 40 years so he knows what hes talking about better than any dr ive been to before and his exact words "im telling you you dont need glasses " its even on my drivers license that i have to wear glasses! I cant even see at night to drive! And i even told him that as well! But like i said he didnt give two shits what i had to say! The only reason i went there is because id lost my glasses went to another eye dr who gave me the wrong prescription and when I went back to that doctor, he admitted that was the wrong prescription gave me another prescription, but I did not trust that considering the fact the wrong prescription has messed up my eyes even more so I decided to give this doctor a chance and all he did was call me a liar. I have never dealt with dry eyes before other than the one time I had pink eye, but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to have some kind of irritation and redness and uncomfortable feeling in your eyes and I have none of that so I don't understand how he got that I have dry eyes And they really had the nerve to send me a termination of care letter in the mail last night I made it very clear. I was never going back to that office when I left day after cursing him out. I went to this clinic because of the 4.6 stars and the reviews on this google search. But if you search for Dr. Woodcock and go to only his reviews. It is a 2.6 something I wish I would've known before this week the reviews there are absolutely horrible. if you care about your eyesight go somewhere else because he gives This entire clinic, a bad name.

I can't stress how rude much of the staff was and one woman was verbally abusive when it was just the two of us in an exam room. When I expressed my concern over the procedure and the disrespectful staff to Dr. Woodcock he told me when I was older I would learn to get over things like that. I am 31 and I hope society never becomes that apathetic. Do not go here.

Yes everyone's eye insurance is different but the entire time they kept tacking on charges that "weren't covered by insurance". $35 dollars here $80 there...the biggest rip off was the out of pocket $80 contact lenses fitting which literally lasted 2 min. A worker gave me contacts to try, I tried them on and they worked fine. Done and done. But that was worth $80? Really? I was able to get what I came for, but most likely will not be back. I've gone to eye doctors my whole life but this is the first place that was "in network" yet I had to pay $500 out of pocket and then try to get reimbursed myself.

I did some research on who was the best optical team in town. I don't have anything special to worry about. After researching I finally settled on Better Vision. I'm SO glad that I did! I made an appointment for July 28. Sadly I ripped the last of my contact so I called to see if there was anything sooner. I was thrilled to take an appointment at 4pm that day! From the first steps in the office I felt so welcomed. The staff was super friendly. I am also hard of hearing. I let the staff know if I don't hear them call my name that's why. They assured me that I would be called. Every person in there was super helpful especially when my name was called. I didn't hear it but the guy that was talking to me about frames flagged the nurse and said I was coming. Trust me it's things like this that really matter. The eye exam was great. They are taking all the safety seriously (I went during the pandemic). I felt at ease. The exam was great and very thorough. Then Dr. Chris Holland came in. He was awesome! He was very detailed when explaining things to me. I advised him I have a pool now and it seems like the contacts dry faster. He put me into a daily contact vs. what I had previously (I think they were weekly or biweekly but I stretched them longer if I could)He was super friendly knowledgeable and made me feel welcomed. I am so happy I landed on this location. As long as I'm living in Fayetteville this will be my go to optometrist! Thanks team!
