So when a friend asked me to drop her car off at Bruce's a few years ago my immediate thought was - i wonder how they're gonna screw her over. The next day I dropped off the car - I was greeted just inside the door by a gentleman and was thrown off by his polite demeanor. Again, I was thinking, nice front man. When I went back to pick up the car, same guy, just as polite - and the bill ..... totally reasonable ! So since then I've been using Bruce's for all of my auto repairs - every single time I've gone in - no matter who's at the desk - they're always polite and I have always felt as if they bill very conservatively. Bottom line - if you're not using Bruce's, you're missing out. I wrote this because sometimes a simple thanks isn't enough - I believe in telling everyone about great service, Bruce has clearly set a high standard for his business, his employees, and his reputation. Because of that he has a customer for life.

Serious Safety Concern - Negligent Tire Installation…read more In early May I purchased four new tires from Sullivan Tire before an upcoming work trip. Shortly after, while driving on 3A to pick up my children from daycare, the car began wobbling severely. I turned down a side street as the situation became dangerous and the entire front wheel came off the vehicle. When AAA arrived and inspected the car, they found that none of the lug nuts on any of the tires had been properly fastened. This was a direct result of negligent installation. I'm grateful it didn't happen at highway speed. This incident endangered my life, the lives of other drivers, and could have put my children at serious risk. Now, nearly six weeks later, the matter still has not been fully resolved by Sullivan Tire. I hope sharing this experience prompts them to take quality control and customer accountability far more seriously. No one should have to go through this.

Berlin's shop was very experienced, carefully reviewed the scope and quoted prior to doing the work so I could prioritize and schedule services accordingly. I am very happy with the work quality, the shop interaction and value is unmatched. I have owned and driven BMWs and Hondas on the south shore for over 30 years and I am grateful for the quality and integrity of this shop!! The owner is professional, experienced and invested in his work and service level and value is far above the level of service at my Honda and BMW dealers where the past few years particularly dealer mis-diagnosing and overselling services is standard, ie last year when I simply needed a new battery from autozone on my Honda CRV the dealer diagnosed a $2,500 bs job which I declined. BMW dealer diagnostic and repair quote was also totally nuts, but that's par for the BMW service course so you need to establish a great independent service shop and Berlins Garage works for both vehicles.
