Delicious artisanal chocolate made in-house. Only place like it is Christopher Elbow chocolates about a mile away. Eclectic food too such as a cocoa nib and espresso rubbed burger, salads, and breakfast options. Didn't get asked how I wanted my burger, would have preferred medium vs well but did not detract from the positive experience.

The chocolates were really very good. The employee was very patient as I had my crazy toddlers with us. A lot of work could be done on the decor and ambiance. It's not awful, just not great. The chocolates were fabulous and I feel like they should stick to that and cold food. I didn't love my meal. Tator tots are baked in the oven ( I can do that at home). I see a ton of potential here but also a lot that can be improved. I hope they succeed and we will be back for atleast the chocolates!

Chipotle Lime Grilled Chicken Sandwich

I would have never guessed that Bizz & Weezy served actual food beyond chocolates! But they do! And it's pretty good! I tried the Chipotle Lime Grilled Chicken sandwich. The lime marinade really comes through in the chicken. The spinach and tomato on the sandwich was fresh. The bacon was super crisp. The avocado was refreshing. And the bun was solid. It's kinda a messy sandwich but the bun stood up and held everything together like a champ. No sogginess. I also tried the tots which were delicious and crisp. And I had a bite or two of the candied bacon grilled cheese which was also tasty. What's even better is that they'll deliver to Double Shift so you can have a beer, order some food right from your table, and boom deliciousness on demand that'll pair great with some suds. One last thing I'll mention are their prices. They are super reasonable. In the crossroads there are plenty of places to get a sandwich or a burger but I guarantee that you'll pay more. While the portion sizes aren't huge, they are still super fair for the price. I was perfectly content with the size of my sandwich and I will definitely be taking advantage of their offerings in the future.

Went in for burger and left with a lavender lemonade, the special "Biz" burger, a salted caramel and two pecan turtles. Deee-lish!! The burger was seasoned really well, thick and juicy. I loved the crisp fresh vegetables on it as well! I can only imagine how wonderful their other sandwiches are if the burgers are this tasty! Will be back soon to try coffees and more chocolates and paninis!! Service was also super nice! Cute and tasty find uptown!

Hard to spot but worth the stop The Weezy burger was *chefs kiss * topped with candied bacon, cilantro lime aioli and flat top grilled cheese Don't forget to try their chocolates or cheesecake for dessert on the way out!

Bizz and Weezy have made some huge improvements since we moved into the neighborhood 2 years ago. Renovated the inside and added seating. The Weezy burger was really good. There was sweetness from the candied bacon the paired well with the beef burger and the cheese. The bun was soft and held up to the burger. The size of the burger was good for lunch. It was a mix between a pub burger and smash burger. I got garlic parm tots and all the good stuff was at the bottom, so I didn't find until too late. The idea and flavor of the garlic parm is great and spicy! However it does stick to the tots so it is miss for me. I got the chili lime caramel. The chocolate and caramel were good, but there was no chili or lime flavor. The chocolate cover mint Oreo was delicious. They had multiple flavors of chocolate covered Oreos.

Chocolates and carmels

I walk by Bizz and Weezy's to get my haircut and have always been curious about it. I was excited to try the chocolates and burgers for the Yelp Elite event. I had the Weezy & the service was prompt and friendly. It is a really unique burger. More like a smash burger as others have described it. It didn't come with condiments other than the lime cilantro aioli. The bacon was nice and crisp. I would have liked more sauce with this and another flavor as well- maybe onion? I ordered the garlic tots and though they were tasty, but they were put in a sealed box so they got soggy quickly. My husband and I ate in and afterwards smelled like a grill. There isn't great ventilation in the place so you might want to take your food to go if you don't want to smell like the cheeseburglar for the rest of the day. They could also use some decor help. Plants on the window sills? Pictures of their chocolates to draw customers in? There are pillows and a giant paper mache head in the sills but that's about it. I tried their monk and honey carmel which was buttery and smooth. Lots of fun chocolate selections and I'd like to try some of the other funky flavors. Fun to meet another Yelp elite member there as well!

$9 for 3 Oreos

What a concept! Chocolate and Burgers lol Now, I came here and decided to get some chocolate covered Oreos. There were no prices in the case, so when I got to check out and realized I was paying $9 for 3 Oreos... I was blown , but I still paid lol. I could get 2 bags of Oreos at the grocery store for that price. You can see in my picture that the burger was a hidden patty in a huge bun. I would suggest that they downsize their bun, or make a bigger patty. The burger was decent, but not worth the price ($11). The service here was super friendly ! I asked many questions about the different flavors and he willingly answered them all.

Before today, I did not know that Bizz & Weezy even served lunch. They are centrally located in Crossroads, and I was able to walk from my office and grab a phenomenal burger. Cool little space, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and good food and drinks. I tried the Weezy burger and a salted caramel latte. Come check them out. I'll definitely be adding this to my lunchtime rotation!

BBQ chocolate

First and foremost, this is a coffee and candy shop that happens to serve a full lunch menu but it's clear that Bizz & Wheezy doesn't do anything halfway. The chocolates are exquisite, well-crafted, and unique. Such an unusual array of flavors. The BBQ chocolate was something worth trying but not for me, too smoky for me in a chocolate. The burgers are exceptional. The Weezy is compact but packs a big punch. Nice handheld sandwich, almost seems like a pastry. The brioche bun is pillowy soft, the burger is cooked to a perfect medium. The candied bacon is perfection and the lime cilantro provides such a nice contrasting flavor. While the garlic parm tots had nice flavor, they seemed cluttered and unnecessary. But this burger? I'd be back for that again and again! This is definitely a place for burgers!

Bizz and Weezy is officially expanding their food menu again, and I'm excited!! The caramels are back on the shelf as well. Everything was so tasty and delicious. You have to come out and try! My absolute favorite drink is an espresso tonic. If you're a fan of coffee, you have to order one! I love supporting local businesses like Bizz and Weezy. The owner is always adventurous and inventive with the menu, and I truly appreciate the effort, especially when Candied Bacon is always part of the creative menu. Come check them out! Food, coffee, and chocolate. Everything I ever want is here.

My call-in, pickup order began with the co-owner relaying to me how very swamped they are. So after 2 minutes on hold, I made it simple: A couple of burgers with condiments on the side, ready for travel. 10 minutes later I arrive and find 4 to 5 people either eating or waiting for their food. 20 minutes later, and I was on the move, burgers in hand! As is typical, restaurants often hear condiments on the side, and instead make it as they designed it, requests lost in translation. I can't eat cheese or mayonnaise. Both had mayonnaise on them, and one had cheese. I called back, and the bothered owner assured me there's no way there was mayonnaise on the burger - apologizing when I then showed him the mayonnaise. He then again relayed how very busy they were during the conversation about my faulty order, so instead of waiting another half an hour from a perturbed staff of a small establishment to frustratingly prepare me a few plain burgers, I just requested a refund and went home hungry to think about my life choices. 6 people at a burger shop wasn't considered busy when I ran the kitchen at a small place 20 years ago. We'd get 25 people at once sometimes - just takes organization and a plan of action to make efficiency sing. You can learn that after a month of working for McDonalds, which leads me to wonder if the burgers at a chocolate shop is more than a nuisance'd afterthought than the plan of attack. Additionally, as I was walking by the window, I saw a young girl around 8 years old randomly walking around in the kitchen, so that wasn't a confidence builder. Their shop seems to want to be 5 different things at once, and it isn't doing any of them particularly well enough it seems. The chocolates - although pricey - looked good enough to pass as sellable chocolates. Albeit, they don't MAKE the chocolate from scratch, just temper it and place into molds. I was told the caramel they use is homemade, so that's good news - and their cookies look great and thick, but it's difficult to screw up a cookie. This place has it all: boozy items, candied bacon burgers, caramel chocolates, custom coffee cups, a huge coffee machine situation, a gift shop, pierrer, some cokes and sprites, and a bunch of red bull...oh, and they have random slices of birthday cake in a glass laying on their side as if two cakes entered, one slice lost, with a nearly unfriendly website, and virtually nowhere a consistent menu is found on the whole of the internet - which is in fact, impressive. Their hand-chalked menu is A LOT, and is chaotic; I just stopped looking at it, and asked questions, of which the man seemed too busy to answer. What could they use more of? More lighting (it's very dark in there, like ordering a burger in a warehouse). Also, a professional ventilation system, so as not to nearly set off a smoke alarm in the dining area every time they cook a single burger. I swear I thought I was in Amsterdam the moment I walked in. I didn't have a single bite, but I tasted more than enough. Results may vary - the proprietors seem very nice, honestly. Just maybe today was a total chaos day. The kitchen looked wild, and the food run had a bar that was covered in stuff, so maybe more organization? I don't know.

Chocolate Bar.

Would have missed this cute little spot located in Crossroads if not for Yelp Elite Event. Parking might be an issue during rush hours, but for a take out spot like this that shouldn't be trouble. We had the "Weezy Burger" which had candied bacon topped on the wrapped cheese patty with a hint of cilantro lime aioli which hit the spot with its right amount of sweet and spice and the "Chicken Pesto Panini" with their homemade fresh pesto blended with tomatoes, cheese and chicken grilled on wheat bread which was assuredly fresh and palatable. They have a wide range of chocolates and with the Chocolate bar we got to taste, would definitely be going in for more. Prices are apt and the service was absolutely favorable.

Julian, the Director, is a fan of this place and he'd sometimes order an array of cakes for the staff to enjoy, they always went fast, and it was my first foray into European style cakes like what Andre's serves up. Flash forward more than a decade and I've been here a few times, sometimes to get chocolates for a friend, other times (like last night) for a meal. I didn't realize that Andre's does special events like their fondue nights. I have a feeling these are annual so you might have to wait until 2027 to snag a seat at the table, but their fondue meal was so much fun and comes with some history from their staff. Fun thing I learned was that they sell their fondue year round in the shop so if you ever want to do a unique date night at home just pop into Andres and purchase some to-go. It would be such a fun way to spend a Saturday at home. Finally, I'm going to add that for me what takes Andre's to the next level and makes it a must visit spot in KC is the history. It's been in the same family for generations, the recipes are authentic, and the owners are really kind people. It's the kind of business you can feel good about supporting and I'll be back!

My friend has celiac disease, so it's important to me to ensure my gifts to her meet her dietary restrictions. I checked online and discovered that almost all of Andre's chocolates are gluten-free and--better yet--they were open on Christmas Eve until 4 pm. So I dashed over after work, arriving at 3:40, and the folks behind the counter were all so kind and so helpful. I explained what I needed and they showed me the ready-made boxes of chocolates available--but then offered to put one together for me right then, to make sure that we chose exactly what she wanted and that every chocolate was gluten-free. They guided me through the choices, telling me the flavors that were in some of the selections, and giving their recommendations based on my friend's tastes. How nice of them!! I walked out close to the stroke of 4 pm, with the perfect box of chocolates in a lovely gift box. Hurray!! I really appreciate the staff's kindness, and going the extra distance for my friend, at the very end of their work day before the holiday started. Thank you SO much to everyone at Andre's, and Merry Christmas!

I love a lot of spots around the metro, but let's be honest, some of them get crazy busy and you end up waiting in line for a while. That's not a dealbreaker, but with a summer of social distancing, it's nice to have a spot like Annedore's that is tucked into the neighborhoods, has outdoor seating, and is never too busy. Their gelato is so good, and the service is friendly as it gets. We've made a tradition of walking up here as a family once a week, and together we've ordered or sampled: Cookies & Cream, Birthday Cake, Mint Chip, Chocolate Chip, Coconut, Strawberry, Berry Sorbet, Vanilla, and Lemon Basil. All are great (not crazy about the birthday cake one my kiddo always gets), the Berry Sorbet and Lemon Basil are standouts on a hot day. Their portions are generous, prices are very fair, the outdoor seating is great, and it's a very clean shop. Oh, and I recently discovered that macarons are delicious, and theirs are some of the best around. They're around $2.50 a pop and well worth it. I cannot recommend this place enough for gelato, macarons, and of course chocolate if that's your thing. Want to skip lines for ice cream (well, gelato) this summer and still support local?
