Wife and daughter's sandwiches so bad they didn't finish 1/2. In fact my wife couldn't even bite through her BLT. I have never really had a good experience there, a couple times it was just ok. Instead of trying to be upscale cool maybe start with decent food and reliable service.

The wings were excellent: big, meaty, and full of flavor. Both the dry rubs and wet sauces were done really well. We also tried two burgers, and they did not disappoint--fresh, filling, and cooked just right. On top of that, the service was great and made the whole experience even better. Overall, great food, great service, and a fun, laid-back place to hang out. We'll definitely be back.

It was STUFFED with fajita style meats (chicken & steak) and also had chorizo, ham, and bacon. It was so filling and the flavors were delicious! I told my husband we had to stop by on the drive back. On the drive back, we got to speak to the owner and she was so kind and welcoming. She told us that she just took over the property and is so happy that we chose to stop in again. She mentioned that they were still new and had a smaller menu, but asked if I would like to try a "chefs choice" entree. When I tell you-these special Gorditas were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Do not just write this off as a roadside taco shop, this place is the real deal! I will be making sure all future road trips that pass even within an hour of Valley City will have a dedicated stop at El Valle!

When we're at the lake, there aren't really restaurant options nearby so when a friend told us about Club Eden (a 20 minute drive from our cabin) we were ALL IN! They have nightly specials, the best service, great prices, and really yummy Midwest food. I ordered their patty melt and tater tots. Oh em gee, there is nothing like a small town patty melt. It *literally* melted in my mouth. It had perfectly toasted whole wheat bread, gooey cheese, a hamburger patty, and grilled onions. Yes, please! It was also under $4. Like WHAT?! The tater tots were also everything that I had dreamed of and more. They have large containers of RANCH and all of the sauces that you could dream of as well. They had whiskey drinks for $2 on special the night we were there and you better believe that the guys in our party were STOKED about this! They also had 0.65 cent wings with 14 sauce choices. Yes, you guys, 14!!!!! You can mix and match which is so cool. The guys were in heaven. The restaurant itself is large, with a big bar, and lots of games! The town of Eden has a very small population and I can tell you that people drive from loads of towns nearby to eat here! We'll be back on our next visit to the lake. Huge shoutout to Cheyanne for making our experience a GREAT one!!
