I struck conversation with the lady behind the register and asked her if there was a large Filipino community in the area, as I was shocked to see their food truck. She gave me their socials and told me that they're normally based in St. Marks, but travel around to different events and locations. They give you a buzzer that has a wide range, so you could go back to having a drink in the brewery or sit and wait in the car like I did. Sometimes I'm a bit skeptical about ordering Filipino food as some recipes have been altered to fit the American palate. I've been to many places who screwed up sisig. It's a typical meal to have after a night of drinking. It's my comfort food, so I was still excited to try it. When I tell you that I wanted to cry after the first bite! The pork used was a mix of the typical pig snout and ears and LECHON! It was so crispy and tender. It was a generous portion with rice, so I had enough left over for the next day. They also have events like a disc golf putting league and trivia in their courtyard weekly. The courtyard has plenty of tables and chairs and a fire pit. I don't drink alcohol but I can tell you about the food truck. I have had the pork sandwich, carnitas, pig burger, fries, and spicy cheese curds. All of which has been very fulfilling and delicious. The pork is always soft and tender. The carnitas seems to be most everyone's favorite as it is topped with sriracha marinated slaw. The fries are hand cut and cooked for a very tasty crisp.
