Finally, the Care I Deserved I can't recommend Dr. Bagheri highly enough. After a truly frustrating experience with another dermatologist about two months ago (see my review for Pacific Dermatology in Laguna Hills if you want the full story--rushed, dismissive, and they even missed something important), I came here feeling anxious and hoping for better. Dr. Bagheri completely turned that around. She took her time from the very start, listened carefully to every single one of my concerns, and addressed them thoroughly without ever making me feel hurried. I have a genetic condition that affects scarring and healing, and she was incredibly knowledgeable about it--explaining exactly why certain treatments or procedures that might be standard for others could lead to problems for me. She adjusted her approach accordingly and was upfront about what she would not do to protect my skin. That level of thoughtful, personalized care is rare. Even better: when we identified spots that needed attention (including one area that had been bothering me and was possibly pre-cancerous, which the previous doctor completely overlooked), she performed the procedure right then and there. No need to schedule another appointment, no extra trips or costs--just efficient, compassionate care that saved me time and money. The entire visit felt collaborative and respectful. I left feeling heard, informed, and genuinely cared for--not like just another chart on a conveyor belt. I love love love Dr. Bagheri. I have been a patient of hers for more than 15 years and I completely adore her. She's so patient, she takes her time to answer your questions and her bedside manner is so caring. I have a family history of melanoma and I don't trust any other dermatologist to do what she does. I even changed primary care physicians and medical group to make sure that I would be able to see Dr. Bagheri and I followed her when she moved her medical practice. I tell her she's stuck with me, like it or not. Her staff is also very professional and kind. If you're looking for a dermatologist you won't find better than Dr. Bagheri. read more

Dr. Bagheri is a knowledgable and caring lady, but may seem to direct with her words. You are always welcome to voice opinions, however her prescribed medicines will likely be your final choice. She did not do any physical examinations of my skin condition. I felt that the office is quite small and crowded. Only one chair for a family member. Her PA Bianca is great at providing emotional support and medical information. Another problem is that their staff is poorly trained in mannerism. Their long nails on iPads while taking notes irritated me, as well as the "um's" and "uh's." Desk staff is often busy or you have to wave at them to get their attention. I came 15 minutes early to my appointment and had to wait an additional 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment (45 mins total). They provide a reasonable appointment durations (half an hour, etc). For my personal liking, I felt that the office does rely on multiple visits from patients, racking up on copayments. The process for prior auth (for Dupixent) was considerably easy, so do your own research on it before coming to the office. Otherwise, this clinic is not magical and has things they could improve on for their customer experience. read more

I have mixed feelings about my experience with Dr. Bita Bagheri, MD. However, there are some serious concerns regarding the office's billing practices and overall management. One of the biggest issues is the way patients are charged. Despite my insurance fully covering a procedure, I was required to pay in cash and sign a consent agreeing to this charge. This feels unfair and exploitative, as patients shouldn't have to pay out-of-pocket for something their insurance is willing to cover. Additionally, the office is extremely busy and disorganized. Every visit, I waited 30-60 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, which was frustrating. Scheduling issues also seem to be a frequent problem--I was called the day before to confirm my appointment, but when I arrived, they claimed I wasn't scheduled. Thankfully, I had a voicemail as proof, but I saw other patients in the same situation who weren't as lucky and had no way to prove their appointments. The front desk staff could also use some improvement in professionalism and empathy. They were not very kind and often showed disregard for patients' concerns, making an already stressful experience even worse. read more
