We were a bit hungry and it was 4:00 p.m. They wouldn't serve food until 5:30 p.m., so we ran out to grab a bite and returned. The place was clean, didn't smell like beer and the staff was friendly. Reasonably priced, as well. I'd likely adopt a place like this as my watering hole, if I lived locally. Not bad. Not bad at all.

A sunny outdoor patio offers a nice place to sit, away from the busy streets in the center of town. Stop by in the afternoon for a glass of wine, and take a bottle home from their extensive selection which are beautifully displayed on rustic wooden shelves. Small batch Scotch, gin, and rum round out the selections in the store. You'll also find pasta, vinegars, olive oils and spices. The fine selection of ingredients ties in with the amazing work which is done in the kitchen. Previously available for private parties and cooking classes, Kult & Genuss is now keeping restaurant hours for dinner. Pasta and salads are a specialty, but meats such as veal and seafood are featured as well. Many of the tables are large shared tables, so you may end up making new friends as you dine. Werner, the proprietor, books acoustic music on occasion. These special evenings attract audiences from throughout the area, and offer an intimate setting for enjoying music, wine and conversation.
