After dinner with German friends, they took me to Beuys. Very hip with an excellent selection of…read morecocktails. The audio cassette boxes containing the cocktail menu was a nice touch. Service - good. As the crowd grew the service did get rather slow. The server chatted with us about our likes and dislikes to determine the cocktail that was right for our taste. Cocktails - no complaints. Over a couple of hours we had a selection of drinks. They were all very good. Although, I thought my manhattan had a bit too much sweet vermouth - still good, just a little too sweet. Overall - definitely, highly recommended. Beuys is a nice contrast to the usual drinking of Alt in the pubs.
