Arrived around 1pm on a Wednesday. The place was almost packed (only about 30 seats), but we…read moremanaged to get a part of a table right away. There's 3 large community tables and that's it.
You order and pay right away, we got the "Dumplings and rice" and the "Green bowl".
Both were delicious! The dumplings and rice had big slices of super tender pork, pickled cucumber, rice, soy mayonnaise, spicy cabbage and huge dumplings. Lots of flavor and so tasty!
The green bowl was smoked creamy polenta, beets,
crispy corn, Brillat Savarin and brussel sprouts.
Lovely!
We finished with the dessert of the year! (Pretty close anyway)
Maple syrup créme brûlée with soy, browned butter and crispy rye bread.
F R E A K I N F A N T A S T I C! Almost brought tears in my eyes.
This is next to their acclaimed sister restaurant Adam & Albin, one of the best dinner experiences you can find in this city.
At night Tvätteriet turns into a cooking studio and dinner venue for parties up to 30.
Service was a bit reserved but professional.
FYI- don't bring your stroller here, you can't have it next to the table and they do not have any chairs for babies.
