This place is not closed, still up running…read more I will start with the good. My boyfriend and I biked in from Montreal, the waiter let us park our bikes right next to the table. He was very nice and accommodating. We noticed that the table cloth was filthy, as if someone had sat there previously and spilled food (see pictures). I asked for it to be changed and the waiter told me they didn't have any clean ones... okay? We looked to the other tables, all the table clothes were filthy, as if they don't change them after someone eats there. First red flag. We were served water, there was a fly in mine. I asked for it to be changed, the waiter forgot for a while, so I reminded him. He brought a glass of water with lipstick print. Absolutely disgusting. Strongly believe this place has poor hygiene. He replaced it immediately. I ordered the tortellini and my boyfriend ordered the bolognese. After 20 minutes of waiting, the waiter informed me they ran out of tortellini and asked I would be okay with ravioli. The food arrived a long wait later. Definitely not worth the wait. The bolognese tasted like spaghetti-o's, you know those canned pasta for children? It looked like it too, not a deep red colour of most tomato sauce, but thin orange. I find it pretty embarrassing that an Italian restaurant can't get tomato sauce right. My ravioli was served in a rosé sauce, it was fine. Again nothing good. But the pasta was undercooked, it was still hard. When I cut it in half, it was white and stiff inside. Also, it was stuffed with some sort of seafood, which is absolutely fine with me, but would have been very bad if I had an allergy, as it was never mentioned either on the menu or by my waiter. I told him it was undercooked, and he said the chef wanted to make sure he didn't overcook it. What kind of chef at an Italian restaurant doesn't know how long to cook pasta? Baffles me! There are many more options on the boardwalk. Do not come here, save your money and your tastebuds!

There are many choices to choose from in this area but, this is one you should definitely try out…read more So glad that I did not see Yelp before I came here. The muscles and fries special was excellent, service is great, prices are very reasonable, and other food quality was spot on!

I'm baffled by the poor reviews here. I really loved this place! Came on a Monday night and sat…read moreoutside on the terrasse. The "Antipasto Olivia" was excellent - a perfect variety of olives, nuts, veggies, cheese etc. I had the Linguini Gigi, and my husband had the steak tartare. We both loved our meals! The pasta was perfectly al dente and very tasty, but... a bit salty. The wine list is good (I enjoyed the Bourgogne), but the beer options are totally lacking. What a crap list of tap options. Such a shame. The food was really great, and the wait staff couldn't have been friendlier! Everyone we dealt with was super nice and chatty, bilingual, and just overall number 1. Give it a try. Srsly.

The decor and setting is very nice and great for a little romantic evening. My only complaint was…read morethat the tables are a bit too close together which made getting in and out of seats a bit uncomfortable. We started off with drinks and the Brie appetizer which were great. The Brie while on the pricey side was well presented and very tasty. It was definitely the high point of the meal. My husband ordered the creamy pizza and I ordered the Mediterranean penne. Our food arrived and I had Mediterranean linguine (not penne as ordered). The pizza was a bit bland and the crust seemed like a store bought naan bread crust. At 18$ we expected a better pizza. The pasta was flavourful and worth the price but it was nothing extraordinary. The service was fast and our waiter was great. Overall, our supper was pleasant but a tad overpriced for what we got. We will likely give it another go sometime in the future.
