I find it pretty embarrassing that an Italian restaurant can't get tomato sauce right. My ravioli was served in a rosé sauce, it was fine. Again nothing good. But the pasta was undercooked, it was still hard. When I cut it in half, it was white and stiff inside. Also, it was stuffed with some sort of seafood, which is absolutely fine with me, but would have been very bad if I had an allergy, as it was never mentioned either on the menu or by my waiter. I told him it was undercooked, and he said the chef wanted to make sure he didn't overcook it. What kind of chef at an Italian restaurant doesn't know how long to cook pasta? Baffles me!
