Next time then... We took a table in the wonderful saloon. Nice chandeliers, leather couches and seats. Very classy, very comfy. And our Bulldog was even allowed in there. Had a tomato soup, steak sandwich with fries and a jacket potato with beans and cheese. Staff was very friendly. The order took pretty long to arrive, but it was clear the meal was freshly made. So it was fine to wait for it. Jacket potato was very nice. You won't be hungry after. The tomato soup was a bit on the thick and sweet side. The fries were crispy and hot. The meat in the steak sandwich of high quality. Very juicy and tender. Prices for all items very fair. All in all a good lunch. Nice setting, very comfy and relaxed.

I was going to stay at the hotel and I should have done as the rooms have all the facilities and a buffet breakfast as well as being reasonably priced, well in Beaumaris anyway. I did however stop for a drink. The hotel does look dated inside and it seemed busy with lots of staff milling around and guests of all ages included four-legged friends. The young and old seem to separate themselves. Younger folk running in and out of the venue or relaxing in the bar area. The older crowd get the sea views at the back sat in beautiful chesterfield chairs having cream tea or ice cream. Well worth a stay or visit.

This B&B establishment is beautifully located -- great vistas toward the pier, straits, and ocean…read more As far as the amenties and service - it has been quite insufferable for me. There was absolutely no working wi fi connection that worked properly anywhere in the hotel. The ownership repeated, mantra-style, 'tomorrow we are going to switch company and get a proper router.' But there was no improvement in the wi fi in the 4 days I stayed there. The download speed was 0.0039 mbps and the upload speed was 0.0002 - way below minimum standards. Additionally, the T-Mobile signal was weak in the hotel's environs, so the I phone couldn't be used as a backup. For the first night I was offered a room just above the dining room, facing the street. When I mentioned that originally I asked for a quiet room, and that there was zero internet signal, I was moved to a back room with the promise of the best wi fi connection. While a weak wi fi signal appeared on my screen, the whole night I had to listen to the loud coughs of the hotel's fridge. So for my second night there I was moved to an upstairs room, facing the street, but on an upper floor, therefore with less traffic noise. No internet signal, but quietude. Nevertheless, for the third night the management moved me back to the original room they planned for me, because, according to them, the quie, no-net room was already reserved. So back to the room above the dining hall I went. This time, because I stayed for a longer duration than the 5 minutes I stayed in it when I arrived, but overnight, I had the honor not only to listen to the dining hall noise, but to smell the kitchen's fumes through the bathroom window. While the hotel was very kind in moving the luggage I re-packed every morning from one room to another, I forgot to pack a scarf, which by now is gone. When I politely discussed my discomfort of having to move every morning to another room, I was told that I was 'yelling' - I guess this is a polite form of intimidating a customer to make them feel inadequate. In short - Bangor's is great! a spectacular little coastal town with a great cathedral, majestic bridges, and good affordable food, I would not recommend the Eryl Mor Hotel.
