Being from Texas and all..my previous Doc attended chiropractic school in Texas. Therefore, their techniques will be similar. Before my appointment, I spoke with Melissa, Dr. C right-hand gal. She answered all my questions without hesitation. Very patient and hilarious to talk to!. I finally meet her and we just hit it off like we have been friends forever! Loved the feeling of being "home" when I'm there. Big plus about Dr. C...he is a physical therapist and chiropractor! 2 for 1 deal folks! Hard to find now! I came here for my initial neck adjustments...then after I rolled over my car, Dr. C helped me recover without pain medicine. Lots of hard work, lots of physical therapy and chiropractic adjustments! Then i twisted my ankle while working in the ICU and he was there to help me heal .... again....till this day, I don't even take pain medications. Dr. C has these cool beds that does massages along my spine to help me "loosen" up! Till this day, three years have passed and I still return to see my family! Even tho I have moved to NOLA, I would surprise them and return for treatments!! Am I crazy? Maybe or maybe i just love my team that much that I would still drive 2.5 hours to visit them and get an adjustment. BTW for maintenance adjustments, join the chiropractor patient membership and save more than 50% per adjustments. Will always come back no matter how far I move LOL.

Come Tuesday, I was taken back quickly and received X-rays. The doctor seemed knowledgeable and said he was ordering an MRI. Insurance would need to pre-authorize and I should be getting a call come Friday or Monday. I never received a call regarding the MRI, so I call them a week after my initial appointment and finally get someone on the phone after getting disconnected twice. I'm told they are waiting for insurance to approve. I call back the next day and told again they are waiting for insurance and it can take up to 30 days. I call my insurance company today (Thursday) and was informed that nothing has been submitted for a pre-authorization . I then decide to drive to their Springhill location this morning to talk to someone. I was informed that the Saraland location only has one person who handles MRI scheduling, but she would forward my information. After waiting all day and hearing nothing, I drive to the Saraland location. The receptionist did not seem to care one bit. She told me it would be next Monday before that person would be back. I asked if there is someone else I can talk to as I am not getting any better and she just says nope.... I do not recommend using this provider for any care. In my opinion, they are a high volume clinic that prioritizes collecting as many copays as possible and little priority on patient care. I made a new appointment with another provider in the parking lot.
