Five minutes into that scheduled appointment, no one called me. I called the law office and said I was supposed to have a consultation and then they transferred me to someone. Did they forget? Well if he said something one way, and I still had a question, why would you repeat your answer? Clearly I didn't understand it the way he said it. Finally I said, after one of the times he repeated himself, "maybe I'm not asking this the right way." And I had to ask it a different way. What did Victor do? Repeat himself, only slower this time!! And his attitude, as I continued with my questions, grew more cold and condescending. I'm not asking to be hugged or be given sympathy or even be treated with white glove service. But it is professional courtesy to avoid sounding cold and condescending to your prospective clients. Victor hung up the phone before I could say good bye.
