I ordered the Goat Tikka Masala (3/5) with Garlic Naan (4/5). The rice was really good (5/5). My only recommendation would be around the goat, maybe if it could be a little more tender. We are in and out of this place since they started. We usually do takeout since even with some minutes of waiting the food are still good. Food: They are for sure one of the best curry places here in SATX. We ALWAYS order Buttered Chicken and Tikka Masala with their Garlic Naan and we're never disappointed with the quality. Their veggie samosa is worth to try even you don't eat veggies this one will not taste like one. Place: It's always been spacious. They have tables for large number and a booth. So even it's busy they can accomplish them. The place have terrible restroom (so if that's important for you it's a warning in advance, hopefully management can clean and fix things after they read this). Gratuity and Management: We dine in for the second time and with our two friends that have 2 kids which is 6 and 3 yrs old. So we have our two friends and me and my partner. Our order is for 4 people since kids are only sharing it. --GRATUITY: They charged us a gratuity for 4 adults? Plus didn't consider that they didn't even served the kids gave big spoon (which is big spoon even for an adult). Got our order wrong and charge us for Gratuity? --Management: I don't know what changed but the service are not organized compared before. The family was feeling like something different for lunch after church. We ran into this gem purely by accident. So happy we did! The beauty of having a family that is willing to try different cuisines, is showing them there is more out there to try. I'm a huge fan of Indian food, and the food here was amazing. We started with a curry chicken dosa. It was a perfect start to my families dip into the different flavor profiles we were about to try. The other dishes we ordered were vijayawada chicken biryani(SPICY), tandoori chicken, Szechwan chicken noodles, and some garlic naan. For drinks we had mango lassi and rose milk. The mango lassi the kiddos loved, the rose milk not soo much. The misses loved the rose milk. The garlic naan was delicious with all the dipping choices they brought us. If you are new, I would start with the tandoori chicken, by far the kids favorite. The biryani was very spicy, we were ok with it, but I can see others being really caught off guard. Me, I loved it all, especially the tandoori chicken, and the hummus that came with the dosa. The real star, came as a SIDE with the dosa. The Sambar was so delicious I forgot everything else that was on the table. I highly recommend that you get an extra side or two of it! It was clean inside and lots of room. The portions are huge, so prep for that. The only negatives I can say....they should do a better job of explaining the dishes to us. Like they brought us a bowl of rice, so we thought, but the chicken was all on the bottom. Also, some of our table was a little thrown off by the strong incense that was permeating throughout. This place is fantastic. There are very few Indian restaurants near me, and when I found this place and tried the food I knew I found a new go-to place. I have had the Chicken Tikka Masala and every bite was delicious. I always make sure to get enough of the Garlic naan and butter naan to sop up the sauce. The Chicken Biryani was superb. The rice was fluffy and had the perfect amount of spice, along with a good amount of vegetables and chicken. The food has a good amount of heat, so if you don't want too much heat make sure to ask them for mild. I have gone back at least once a week since my first visit. read more

They got a good selection of the menu. We ordered lamb masala and lamb biryani rice. Portions are generous unlike the other Indian restaurant with the small portion. Opened recently and ordered to go. OMG, pipping hot, packaged well. Got home with lovely hot food. First bonus points for the hot food with no mess. Then we tried our food and it was so lovely. Had an assortment for the group, several different types of breads, saag paneer, shrimp curry and some of their fried corn appetizer. Nothing disappointed and everything was flavorful and excellent. Weirdest restaurant experience! Went in for lunch at 12:30 on a Tuesday. Only two tables occupied. Ordered food and water; we were given bottles of Costco/ Kirkland water. Chicken korma was good but only chicken BONES were provided masquerading as chicken. Chicken tikka masala was so-so with a strong tomato taste and 2 small pieces of chicken. Saag paneer was good with big pieces of fried cheese. "Waiter" was strange. We all had to get up and go to him to get his attention, then he would yell "I will help you at the table." and would stroll over. We felt unappreciated and unwelcome at this place. It was my first time at an Indian restaurant. My daughter treated me to dinner. It was difficult to decide what to get, so we ordered a variety of appetizers. Our server was very helpful and made a few recommendations. First, we had the Potato Samosas with Tamarind chutney. It was delicious. Then we had the Pani Puri. It came with a Cardamom chutney. The flavors were interesting, but I probably would not order it again. Then our main dishes arrived. My daughter had the Egg Masala with a side of Basmati rice, and I had the Chicken Tikka. My chicken came with a Coriander Mint chutney. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Both main dishes were very spicy. We added an order of the Garlic Naan at the last minute, and it was a perfect compliment to my chicken. There were a few other families dining this evening, so it was fairly quiet. They seemed to have a steady stream of to go orders going out. The price was very reasonable for all of the different items we ordered. They only had room temperature bottled water, for which they charged us $.50 each. My daughter also tried the Mango Lassi, which she absolutely loved. I would have liked to have given them a 5 star review. However, we kept hearing what sounded like some kind of animal moving around in the ceiling while we were waiting for our food. The food is delicious. We were going weekly, I loved it so much that we usually ordered multiple meals and ate over a couple of days at home with the leftovers. We usually sit near the window. I asked 3 times for them to clean the wall- there is food smeared all over it. 3 times the owner said he would clean it. The last time we went, I was pretty disappointed to see it STILL smeared all over the walls (over several seating areas). So, we sat more to the interior. This was when I saw the 82B rating from the health department. Uggh. A kitchen has to be pretty dirty to get 18 points knocked off. Although I love, love, love the taste of the food, it's only a matter of time before I see bugs or something else that I can't unsee. I don't think I have the stomach to go back. read more

Ok, first off, I don't consider myself an expert in Indian food. I do know good flavor though, and this food has that in abundance. Goat curry was a spicy tomato based dish with tender goat and came with fluffy, perfectly cooked rice. I had garlic naan which was toasted on the outside and fresh. Finally, my favorite, samosas! Saw this was now open and decided to try it. Everything we ordered looked and tasted fresh. The chicken tikka masala was a little on the sweet side for me, but was well seasoned otherwise. The palak paneer was excellent; a little spicy and very creamy. We got the dosa with potato masala. The filling was nicely spiced and the potatoes were soft. The dosa was tender and flavorful, and the chutneys were excellent. The garlic naan was crispy on the edges with a great chew, and there was a nice amount of garlic on it. Also, the menu says they have gluten free options but when I asked-they said they had no options. This was yummy , and I do love Indian food, this one was flavorful and full of diversity. The rice was perfect and fragrant, the curry itself felt packed with fresh herbs. Went here for lunch it was pretty slow with just a few customers coming in. I got the lamb biryani bowl and my friend got the butter chicken. We also got the chicken lollipops. All of the food was really good. I got the spicyest bowl and it was great. Nice and spicy like I prefer. The only thing we thought could have been was the butter chicken. I've had butter chicken at several places and this one was just ok. It distinctly reminded me of tomato soup more so than any other I've tried. Still with that said the menu was fairly large and we will definitely come back and try it out again sometime soon. read more
