The variation of toys and games and art and craft is wonderful and prices range from pocket monet stuff to serious presents. I can't think of a better shop to go to coming up to Xmas!

Although there have been many a time when the queues have been ridiculously long and the shop cannot cope with it, with just a small till at the front of the shop, which i always thought was a silly place to put it! I find the staff seem a little bit moody and tired. I would prefer to go to the bigger one in the mall - where the selectrion is obviously bigger and the staff seem more prepared for more people to visit. Overall probably best to go to this drake circus one and avoid the one opposite mcdonalds.

The cards do not offer anything the other stores like WH Smiths dont sell and in fact their other branch is also better stocked. I havent bought anything in here for a long time despite a good look. The staff seem stressed but are friendly enough and the store is well lit and accessable to prams and wheel chairs. Overall if I was just after a quick birthday card I would stay in the new shopping center.

The shop itself is quite tired looking and could do with a revamp but the cards themselves are not too badly priced. They also offer a few related items like balloons, personalised key rings and mugs etc. There is a good range of products for the usual occasions for both male and females and the wedding range is also quite comprehensive. Worth a visit if you don't have the time and energy to queue in the larger store and the staff are usually friendly and polite.

There's always a cue, with only one or two staff on tils per shift, so you can expect a wait. They also do pik n mix! I've never taken an item back that I have bought, so I don't know what the refund situation is like, but if it's anything like the rest of the experience you'll have, it's probably fine. I've bought a good few things here, and never had a problem with quality or durability, so I think that should speak for itself.

They do sometimes have some 'stocking filler' type products though that I havent seen elsewhere. There is a big till area near the entrance which has always seemed too big for the one cashier I have always seen here when I visit midweek but I guess its useful when the store gets busy and there are more staff working. The staff have seemed pleasant enough when Ive visited.
