Great shop with everything from jewellery to musical bits. theyve been around for over 50 years

Wants specialise in second hand items that appeal to men. Gold, music equipment, stereos - it's a cool shop. The prices are average, and the customer care the same, but it's exciting to have a look around, and has some particularly nice pieces of gold in the window. They buy your items too, but I've never done that, so don't know the prices they pay. I usually tend to go to this shop if I am interested in purchasing gold jewellery. In my opinion, it's one of, if not THE best places to go for 2nd hand jewellery. Plymouth City Centre offers many opportunities to grab yourself some nice gold, but this place has to be the one to go to.They have plenty of £1000 gold bracelets, unlike many of the high street jewellers. read more

Wants chains are as you would expect from most pawn brokers. They buy items off people who will take cash for the item, if they don't buy it back then it's available for the rest of us to buy from the shop. You can often get a bargain in here and most of the things are good quality. The electrical items are nearly all separately tested to make sure that they are not faulty. You can also get a good range of cd's and dvd's or games in these places as well. They are a little treasure chest of things to buy, a step up from charity shops, apart from no one really gains other than the pawn broker (or you if you pick up a bargain). read more

I have never encountered such bad customer service in all my life and had to leave the shop before I got any more angry and smashed my faulty audio device over the ignorant shop assistants face. I was insulted and ripped off by these people and would advise anyone to avoid them at all costs. If you buy something from here that has PC driver issues they will immediately blame your PC for causing the fault when it is clearly badly made software. Trust me I have worked with computers and audio for over 10 years and have experience with just about every brand of audio device so I know when something is a piece of shit. This place is a joke. The douchebag that served me needs to understand that there are people out there that know a LOT more than he does and he can not refuse to refund something that in his opinion is not faulty when there is clearly an issue with the drivers supplied with the device. read more

this pawn shop is fairly central in town so its possible for you to drop off and pick up larger goods with ease. it is how most pwn shops operate a they buy your unwanted items for a generally low price nd sell them on to other customers. i am always surprised by the variety on offer here. read more
