Excellent tacos and nachos. Great service. My go to place for Birria. They even had a little play area for kids

Not only do they serve tacos, but they also have tortas, burritos, quesadillas, gorditas, sopes,…read moretostadas, and huarache. The same meats are offered for all of them, so you basically get to choose your variation of carb :D Didn't realize they had a Taco Tuesday special (specifically the taco trompo is $1 each instead of $2), which wasn't mentioned anywhere in store, until I got the receipt. Only bottled water and drinks available :( Tacos only come with onions and cilantro. If you want cheese or sour cream, it's an extra charge for each. They do have house creamy green and spicy red sauces, but they didn't bring it to our table until I was done with half my tacos. Tacos come with 2 small corn tortillas: - Barbacoa (4.5/5): tender, flavorful -- this one was my favorite. - Chorizo (4/5): nicely cooked, flavorful, but very salty - Lengua (1/5): crunchy and hard, flavorless. More texture than anything. - Tripa (1/5): also not seasoned and not flavorful. Meat wasn't tender either. - Nopales (4/5): cactus grilled tender, wasn't seasoned so it didn't have too much flavor. But it came with grilled jalapeño and onions which were yummy. - Sopes (3/5): my first time having a sopes so not sure how it's supposed to taste like, but the base is made of masa flour and felt like a dense, pasty waffle. It was a on the soggy side and couldn't be picked up. This one came with cheese and sour cream but didn't have much flavor even with the chicken, so we still doused it with the sauces. Didn't see any beans on there. Nice to try but probably wouldn't order again. The service was not unfriendly but poker-faced and to the point. When I asked how the cactus tasted, the staff member could not tell me if it was salty or sweet (fyi, it's a savory dish). The ladies' restroom also had no toilet paper (not even a finished roll). But the tables and overall eating environment was clean and bright. Overall, an okay meal without frills. I would compare it to a food truck but in a nicer environment + nice parking lot. The Lengua and Tripa let me down, but I would return for their Barbacoa!

The meat is seasoned to perfection and the salsa has just the right amount of spice. I will definitely be back and would like to try some of the other menu options. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean!

They were out of raw onions because cleanup had already started and only offered grilled onions, which I didn't want. The al pastor also had no flavor and was sitting in grease. I understand places prep for closing, but customers should still be able to get fresh food and normal toppings during posted business hours. Disappointing experience overall.

Greg Mata worked a regular job for 22 years but cast it all to the wind and opened a taco shop selling homemade tacos. What a success this is. The tacos are great and they serve up good sized portions. I recently went and had only 2 tacos and I was satisfied for lunch. The grilled chicken was moist and meaty and had great flavor. Also had the grilled steak, both had beans and rice on them and I added some cheese. Ice tea was brewed just right. Tacos are $3.99 each which is really good for the amount you get. The interior is clean and bright in a TexMex kind of way with lots of wall decor. I've heard the breakfast tacos are also very good, they sell their homemade tortillas.

However, Jose-Luis made sure I had a great first experience. He provided great food suggestions and instructed the staff on how to assemble my tacos. I came for a couple tacos and walked out with four! Let me tell you...the tacos were very good. They had the homemade taste, made with real ingredients! Not a lot of processed stuff. You can taste the difference. While eating I didn't feel as if heartburn was knocking at the door. I'm very excited about the freshness and clean taste. Not overly salty. Some may need salt, but I appreciate the freshness! So excited. The ambiance is causal, with the feel of being at a neighbors house for lunch. Very relaxed. I guess me being from California, being used to fresh tasting tacos, this is a hit for me! I can't wait to return to try some of the other taco meats. Note: They typically close at 2pm daily, but occasionally will close at 1pm. You might want to call to verify their hours.

For the tacos- I like onion and cilantro so didn't mind but they ask if you want c&c and they just throw it in all your tacos. So it's best to tell them just on these tacos. I wish they would cook the tortillas a bit more cus they do feel doughy and undercooked. We got egg and bacon there wasn't much flavor. Same for the barbacoa. For them making it "a la Mexicana aka with tomatoes, onions and pepper" it sure had no flavor. The salsa-red was spicy no flavor and I'm not a green salsa person but I ended up using that one more. Before we finished some guy came over and said are you done? And without hesitation quickly removed our "plate" before I could say hey I'm still eating that. Overall it's not a place I'll go back to.
